A rifleman can take a Juvenile and a normal Krayt solo but not giant/ancients. With TKM it will take HOURS to kill a krayt solo so your better off with Swordsman.

Umm, Krayt dragons were never meant to be soloed. And why does everyone want to be able to solo everything in this game? I'm all for a good balance of solo vs. group content, but some things should never be soloable, and Krayts are included in this.

Maybe, because we dont want to play with you. I noticed that the people that bring up this subject are playing with templates that they "enjoy" playing but know they cannot solo the big names in the game and dont want to switch templates. It's the price you have to pay.

Um, sorry, but you are WRONG!! I do plenty of group things, as well as solo things, andI can solo the big names in the game, so you are all up in the kool aid without knowing the flavor. My point would be that these "big names" SHOULDN'T be soloable, but should be something you need a GROUP to take on. This game was a lot more fun back in the beginning when you needed to get a group up to hit these high end mobs. Now it's just boring.

Any master rifleman can solo ANY Krayt Dragon i know im probably going to get flamed for this but its called concealshot I have killed several KDs/NS elders using this method yes it may be cheapbut the Juvies i just use master pike on.

Cougar - Scylla Master Pikeman, Master rifleman.

Yep he is correct grab your cold damage rifle (name eludes me right now SG-??) and consealshot untill the sucker dies ... no risk just stay about 55 - 60 m away and it will never argo you.

SG-82's are about the worst weapon you can use against a Krayt. Between the low damage of the SG-82 and the heavy armor of the Krayt it would probably despawn before you could actually kill it lol.

And concealshot is not a risk free attack either, especially on something with high HAM and resists like a Krayt. Concealshot (like most other attacks in the game) has a random chance of applying a bleed to the target, so when using concealshot a lot it's only a matter of time before you make it bleed, and then it's guranteed to aggro you the next combat round.

the hour you spend concealshotting a 300k ham mob probably would be better spent running janta missions, considering loot in this game.

You need to seriously calm down. No one was bagging on anyone for playing solo, and no one was saying that a solo player is UBER. Seriously, go back and read the other replies. If you are getting THAT defensive over playing solo, then maybe you feel guilty for using an exploit or something (NOT saying that you did). All that's being said is that the higher end mobs should not be soloable, something the DEVS have stated time and time again, not something that players have stated. Thus, ACCORDING TO THE DEVS, these things should not be soloable.

Some of you people need to get a damn grip and get a life!

Just because someone wants to play solo does not make them UBER. Nor does it take away from anyone else's enjoyment- unless you are bull-headed enough to let it affect you.

I have played since launch, met a TON of really good people who know how to fight in a team- and that's great, but I have met just as many loot-stealing, "Pwn-you" jack-holes who seem to think that the purpose of this game is to be better then anyone else- at everyone else's expense.

Before making irrational judgements about people who decide to play solo and just enjoy things their own way- think for a second WHY...

So what if someone can solo a Krayt? They probably spent many long hours trying to figure out how- and that's THEIR business...

Big freakin' deal if someone can walk through a cave and kill everything in it. They built the template to do just that. Who cares if you don't think it should be solo-able. These people found a way...

There is nothing wrong with someone who simply wants to play without waiting 45 minutes for the party to move on to the next target, or doesn't want to listen to constant "I GET THE PEARL!" or "CAN I HAVE THAT WEAPON?" spam.

You're forgetting that in an a "STAR WARS" MMO, there are going to be the silent, non-guilded, really bad-ass characters who have no desire to associate with anyone unless they have to. It's that simple. If they bite off more then they can chew- well...

The bottom line for me is this:

I spent the first 6 months of the game soloing anything I felt like. I didn't want to join a guild. I didn't want to own a house, or a harvester, or a power generator- I just wanted to kill things. Does that make me any less of a viable character in this game because I chose not to associate myself with anyone for that time? Does that affect anyone else that I did this? Does it matter?

Leave the solo-ists alone. They do what they do because they want to- and it's really none of your damn business how they play unless they are directly affecting you by their actions.

And they're not...

I agree with PVT, maybe they could make it so that loot is similiar to how you harvest resources from a creature. Everyone can get meat, even if people get to it before you. And lmao, I want to be a riffle man too, but I can't find it
