I don't know if this is too obvious, but grouping actually gets me a lot of experience. For instance, two days ago, I joined a group that was headed toward a narglatch cave near Moenia. In less than 30 minutes, I had gained 11,800 pistol points without dying or having any real down-time. The group was unhappy, though, because they couldn't form a camp inside the cave, and they couldn't call their pets out of their bags. But for pistol experience, or really any kind of weapons experience, I've just found that grouping with 5 to 10 people really helps me rake in the experience.


And as far as credits and missions -- I frequently see destroy missions worth over 2200 credits at terminals in both Bestine and Coronet City, and the difficulty is only 10. With expert pistol, I'm not having any trouble.

Thanks for the tips on all of this stuff. Especially the missions... I haven't been able to find any that are that hard. Thanks!
