Thread: Jedi Skill Tree

Whena playergetsa fs character and pursues becoming a jedi, do they get to master 3.5 proffesions like any other player. Like could they be a jedi/weaponsmith/scout with some medical skills? Or does jedi take up the entire characters skill pool? Just wondering if this was ever brought up.
No, Jedi is a hybrid profession, that's pretty much the only thing we know 100% certainly. That means you will most likely have to be Master Brawler and Master Scout (or Master Brawler& Master Marksman) before you can train Novice Jedi. Might be you get a little skill points left over (like for BountyHunter), but it would definitly not be enough to master another profession.
I can also assume that they can make master by training other people normally in other class skills. A pistoleer could train enough artisan skills to get points tomake Master Dancer. Heheh.
There are 4 professions you need to master in the Jedi rankings
Much like scout is one full profession jedi is
The 4 skill trees are as follows: (pretty self explanatory also)
Padawan
Jedi
Jedi Knight
Jedi Master
Jedi Master is what follows after Knight
so example, you have to master all 4 skill trees in Padawan to become a Jedi
Then you have to master all 4 in Jedi to become a jedi knight
then you have to master all 4 in Jedi Knight thus the last slot being on the very top of that profession tree is....Jedi Master!
As far as the skills go (names and such) I don't know yet, got disconnected.
Should you choose to believe me or not, personally I don't care, this post was for people seeking out the info.
Gracias.

at the top of the jedi knight skill, instead of Jedi Knight Master, there is Master Jedi
I was thinking about this last night, and here's my take on the situation, so let me know what you think.
I think the Jedi profession is a single set of 4 skill trees, just like any other super elite profession (bounty hunter). Within that 4 skill trees, we'll see a lot more goodies at each level, and the XP for advancement will probably be insane.
If you look at the 6 basic professions, there is a little bit of Jedi in each of them. I'm thinking you have to become a specialist in 1 tree of each of the 6basic professions as a FS character. Once you become a specialist in these 6 trees, then you can move on to "Novice Jedi". The following is a list of my thoughts on which 6 trees it would be:
Scout -> Exploration (Jedi certainly have a better burst run than anyone else)
Artisan -> Engineer (Jedi need to be able to construct their own lightsaber)
Brawler -> One Hand Sword (Lightsaber, duh. Although it would be cool if you went different routes you ended up with different Lightsaber types. Unarmed = Lightning from fingers, 1 hand = Lightsaber, 2 hand = 2 Lightsabers, Polearm = Double Lightsaber.)
Marksmen -> Ranged Combat Expertise (It could be any of the guns, but I think you get combat XP for the Brawler combat, so you could still be gaining XP for this tree without using a gun. I think Jedi need general combat training.)
Medic -> First Aid (Just a guess here, but I think I remember somewhereJedi having healing powers, internal at least, so it may make sense, otherwise it is a toss up.)
Entertainer -> Image Designer (This is the weakest by far, but the mind control that Jedi possess could be represented by an Entertainer profession, and the cruelest joke they could play on us by far would be Specialist Image Designer.)
These 6 specialists would keep people busy for a while as an FS character. It would keep Jedi pretty rare, because it would take a while to specialize in all 6 of these, especially Image Designer, and especially without ever dying.
If you completed 6 specialist trees over 6 starting professions, you will use up all but 76 points. The standard 4x4 elite profession tree takes up 63, leaving 13 for whatever else. And, I think a Jedi Master shouldn't be considered 1 of 3.5 professions, and I don't think they'll allow a ton of points after making Master Jedi. So this all makes sense to me.
Anyway, those are my thoughts. Any holes or other suggestions?
In my opinion, the Jedi profession should be a profession just like the others, allowing you to follow other trees as well. After all, Luke was a Jedi, but he also had piloting skills and some mechanical skills. There is probably some mechanism to keep Jedi Masters focused on that one path, much like a Bounty Hunter, having very little room to explore other professions.
Diamondwolf's "anonymous" source could be correct in that there could be multiple Jedi professions (Force Adept and Jedi, perhaps). I doubt there would be 4 professions, and I doubt there would be an actual profession called "Jedi Master" since once you became a master of the Jedi skill tree, you would be a master of the Jedi skills. Unless there was a title "Master Jedi Master," but who knows? (A handful of stingy little developers and designers know...all smug in their little cubes...hoarding the information...greedy, they are...yes, hmm)
If I was to speculate it would be similar to the four professions except Padawans become Jedi Knights, so there would be: Padawan, Jedi Knight, Jedi Master.
Of course many of us would be Novice Scout, Novice Marksman or Brawler, and Novice Padawan.
That is unless you must find a trainer to become Novice Padawan and this is a hard and difficult task. We may have many skill boxes in Scout and Marksman before becoming geting Novice Padawan. here is also nothing to prevent someone working to be a Master Chef before beginning the Padawan profession,
