Well, I'm not a kid (although my wife might say differently) and my intention was more of a sarcastic reponse making fun of some of the less noble folk in our community...especially since the person who posted before me had what seems to be the proper answer (head out of town and hang out)
That Old Man is gonna be one tired old geezer by the end of the week, that's one thing for sure....

Nobody I know has found him yet, hope its not bugged. I found him twice on test center both times in 10 min after walking 1k from Tyrenna. Ive tried shuttles from player city to player city, shuttle from SP to player city, logging off for 10 min (another post suggested this), running around killing stuff, biking around, etc for 2 + hrs now and nada. I took the day off from work for this ?

Actually if you are at Glow you have same chance as people who unlocked. Being at glow means you are at the unlock point of the new system, and TH clearly states that that will get you in with no wait.

apparently you do nothing, glowing means crap unless you hologrinded. You wont get to the village until they unlocked, then the next group of people closest to unlocking get in and then you wait more, so basically not alot of people will be able to get the old man, its a waiting list.

Read this:
If you have… You will be granted access to the village…
No professions remaining: Automatically qualify
1 profession remaining: Automatically qualify
2 professions remaining: Group 1
3 professions remaining: Group 2
4 professions remaining: Group 3
5 professions remaining: Group 4
Since there is a large wave of players that will be going through the system, we are going to be monitoring traffic daily as players start and finish the Force Sensitive quests. When enough people have completed their path, we will open it up the village to the next group. Groups 1 – 4 will qualify for a visit when the village traffic has died down. Of course, if you qualify for the visit under the new system, you will automatically be granted a visit from the old man.

SOE Sucks, They really Screwed over alot of people, While i understand this system, i am appalled they waited till the day pub 10 came out to send TH over and annouce to us we are all getting screwed. **edit** did my friends and i who are casual players spend tons of time getting alot of badges and doing the themeparks for? Nothing obviously, its crap like this people hate SOE.

Thats weird. He says there will be no wait, on the other hand it is stated that only a few ppl will be allowed to enter the village at the start. With more and more slowly trickering in.

That just means the hologrinders not qualified under the new system will be visited by those groups as another form of holocredit, so they don't have to get the badges and worry about glowing.

Did any of you actualy read what TH posted?

What that mean's Boy's n' Girls is that anyone who is glowing is qualifyed under the NEW system to get a visit, so no you don't have to wait. The Group's 1-4 don't have to screw around with badge collecting to qualify. Although if they wish to make use of this ability they must wait for there window of opportunity to open.
Take time and read what your posting about, and try not to get carryed away creating a panic. Relax breath and understand we still love you =P.
