another enormously useful little macro for harvester setups..

/setpermission admin playername;

/paymaintenance amount;

/addpower amount;

There is also a command to name the structure in a macro, but I can't recall it offhand, I will look at my macros this afternoon.

Nice to see all of this in one place.

amazing, thank you SO much. one thing i didn't see (but maybe you mentioned it) is you can map macros to the keyboard - in configuration (you know, the wrench icon) go to... controls, keymap (button) then look for the macro tab (near the right side at top). I have my entire left side of the kayboard maped to CTRL + key attack sequences, it's very very handy.

Also, the TKA FAQ has some nice automated attack macros (for me, legitimate to use the second time you're climbing a profession ), go over to the TK boards and check it out - nothing that isn't listed here, but the macros are all layed out nicely and work well.

Thanks again!

Great post.

couple of things you didn't mentions about aliases:

if you use the "/alias" command to set up aliases it creates a file called aliases.txt in your galaxies folder - this is editable with wordpad too.

The aliases.txt file does not exist UNTILL you use the /alias command the first time or you manually create it yourself

SWG will automatically load "aliases.txt" at launch - all other .txt files must be manually loaded.

you dont need the colon in the alias example (at least not in the .txt file) = bob /sing Emanual Kant was a real... not bob: /sing blablabla;

it is possible to Alt-Tab out, open notepad, edit aliases.txt, save it, Alt- Tab back in, and "/load aliases.txt. this way you can change things on the fly. I do this often when setting up a new alias - especially if timing of /pause'es is critical.

the aliases.txt file can hold LOTS of aliases. I personally only use the one file for all my aliases. I NEVER use the in game tools to add to aliases - it will mess with the formating of the file (yes You can add some format for clarity- see below).

In the alias fileI put a return between each alias so you can see where one stops & the next starts. Each alias must be on a single line (no returns) however, you can use notepad's word wrap feature to show the whole line without having to side-scroll. For long repetative macro's stretch the window to "Align" pauses/commands/etc. for clarity. Note - if you use /alias xxxx in game it will remove any extra returns (ie between aliases) & put funky little squares at return locations. It's OK to remove those Squares as long as you maintain one line one alias. The alias line can be VERY long (Had one 2 pages long till I figgered out a way to shorten it).

I typically save my file twice once as aliasses.txt & once as aliases2.txt that way if the game decides to chew up/reformat my active fileI have a back-up.

Do you know the command to select/target another player?

eg: /ui action targetSelf --> select self

/ui action cycleTargetOutward --> select next targetable

/ui action targetGroup0 --> select 1st member of group

But do you know how to select another player?

For example, in the cantina, there's a huge crowd of players. You want to buff someone, so you need to select him/her/it in order to be able to setperformance to that person. But because of the huge crowd, using the mouse is a total nightmare.
