Well, we already know what the term "revamp" means to the guys at SOE, and it ain't always positive.

Actually it was a reward from the kid outside of Watto's junk shop as well as the Theme park

(of course this was almost 2 yrs ago)

This reward was changed to a 'old podracer helmet' aka a swoophelm with a description

funny to think that doing some followme mission on Tat would actually have a reward that needed changing...

Interesting....anyone that I had ever seen with the helm had gotten it from the Rebel Themepark (myself included). Never talked to that kid -- guess I missed out.

You used to get a Rebel flightsuit and a launcher pistol from the Corellian rebel hideout too....I remember for awhile that pistol (and maybe one other themepark item) were the only heavy weapons available on my server!

Make it craftable so it can be ignored like the Swoop helm? No one uses those anymore.

I did the rebel theme with 2 of my chars short before publish 12 went live.
I got some armor pieces as reward. I am not sure what the armor is called,
but it has no protections and some defense mods on it.

Also got one helmet, not sure if thats the helm you are talking about.

I got my helmet from Wedge Antillees, I believe it was his last mission. I don't really plan on selling it, because eventually SOE may get a clue and stick 'em back in. It's like the tusken robe and helmet. Suddenly gone, prices soaring to 3-4 million, then quick as a flash there they were again, back on the bazaar for 5k.

The devs are too silly to realize that it adds game play to have some loot gone forever. It gives the collectors something to do hunting down the now gone loot. The Tusken items should have never been brought back because now no one is even buying it or using it. Like I said before if they make some loot only available for a limited time it becomes something of a veteran reward because the people only the people who were around when it was given out would have it.

/agree with the above poster. i like some loot that is gone forever. I still have my Aramouth Armor (spelling) and unwearable Tusken outfit. Both of these items were from the museum npc in bestine before the painting deal started. There were a couple of other items, the curator gave out, but i think i might have deleted those. Oh well.

In my opinion, loot gone forever should never include items that were common and iconic in the movies. Anything that is distinctively Star Warsy and used commonly by characters in the movie we need more of. Not less.

I totaly agree. If this was SOE's game world like EQ is it would be fine, but this is a game with plenty of referance material that they could use and its never looked at.

Here you go 5*, you gotten hit by the one star bandit a few times.

It may look like a swoop helmet, and smell like a swoop helmet, but for some reason it isn't as wearable as a swoop helmet.

My Sullustan toon on another server wears an orange swoop helmet he found on the bazaar, to go along with a (crafted: he's a privateer pilot)orange flight suit, but can't equip the Old Podracer Helmet for some reason. Sure looks just like a swoop helmet to me, though!

I got the endor helmet, still wear it and Ill be glad to sell it to you for 15 mil. Not in game anymore! Kauri here.
