I really would not be surprised. Also seems like one of those line they would use in real life.

I can just see the day... you are in game and get into a heated argument and you hear... "Oh yeah? Well, I'm a Master Jedi on the boards! So there!"

I imagine for the most part now, we'll see nothing but 5-star messages for everyone. lol

I wish they'd reset all the post rankings from a long time ago, I used to be a jerk.

Based on the requirements (needing 4 star average) I don't think there will be many here, now there's an irony:-)

(I'll probably get one-starred for this, but...) I have a 4-star rating so far.
But, I see your point, it's hard to hold on to.
Although, if they keep their promise to publicly label habitual one-starrers, we may see a change in that.

The average star rating is much better than the posts rating, the ammount of rubbish some people post is stupid, I hate reading rubbish here, I like learning usefull things on the forums.
Oh well, this post will probably drag me lower. 3.4 at the moment. not too bad i don't think

Actually, you're only 3.5, the display rounds up ![]()
Its very tough to keep a star rating high, some people will one-star for random reasons regardless of your post and it doesn't take many to bring your rating down.

It's harder then you think, if you look at your profile although you have a 4 star rating by the number of stars if you hover your mouse over them you will see your actual rating is only 3.5 which is unfortunatly what they base the ranking system on

Absolutely. And the random one-starrers will hopefully be taken care of, to an extent. Thank you for the mouse-over info. ![]()
It will be interesting to see how drastic the system will be affected when there are more "honestly given" ratings to ones' messages...![]()

Is the new ranking in place or is this some kind of bug? There are alot of new titles going around today.

Who really cares?
Pat yourself on the back if you spend 90% of your life on a forum board.
I want the title of Most Evil Jerk. I deserve it.

Yet they still continue to 1 star uneccesarily ![]()
It would be nice if there was a way of seeing who rated you or if they had to give a reason for giving the rating before they could give it ![]()
