We ran 7 people thru the foreman's quest just for the hell of it, one on the first attempt, 6 on the next when we had it down. Lets us do multiple crafting runs on the same day.
Also, I can confirm that Death Watch Bloodguards are dropping Protective Liquid Coatings. We can't get a Binary Liquid for crap tho.
Could you explain how you did 6 on one run please. This is the part I don't understand. Also the reason we want to have multi people is so others get some reason to keep coming on our runs. They can sell the Alum, or hold it for future crafting.

If youre lucky the foreman will talk to up to 6-7 people, unlucky, well maybe 1-2, all the way until the water pump part you can have a group do the quest, after that its 1 person at a time.

Hello all,
First of, thank you very much for this guide, and thank you to the guy who provided the map. Using this guide we made a jetpack this saturday ! and yay for that!
I have a few comments to add, and would like toshare how we completed the miners quest for anyone that might be interested.
We had gone a few times some time back, so i had an idea of the layout. On our 1st run we made it to the miner, got the quest to go find Haldo, found him and then died (as planned).
2nd run a week latertook us to the upstairs room to pick up cure. When we got that we went down to the miner, got him to spawn Haldo, went and delivered. Then he gave us the battery and we died....again as planned.
On the 3rd run yet another week later we got the battery cleaned, went to the miner and delivered. We then tried to go set the pumps but failed. That quest has a timer - what it is i dont know as i usually stress out to the max
On the 4th run this saturday (yes another week later) we pushed forward to the miner, got water pump quest and went back up to set them. I can support them completely random theory and can offer no help in the way to set pumps...just run around clicking....took me 5-7 clicks. After we got the "water pumps set" (or something like that) we went back to miner, recieved reward, and went crafting.
Regarding group size and setup i feal that with 4 able tanks and 3 riflemen you can pull this of. More makes it go alot faster but is really not needed.
If you feal this mission is too tough for you, think again. It will take practice but it is by no means imposible. Just split the quest up in bits you can handle. If you still feal its too tough run some key raids. With keys we succeed in going to the miner, back up to pump room, back down to miner, and then went to kill the overlord in the mines. This was done with 3 tanks and 2 riflemen. So in conclusion....give it a try - its fun, hectic and rewarding
Regards

Are the Protective Liquid Coating & the Binary Liquid required for the crafting of the Jetpack?

no, alums and the 5 pieces + either a bh helmet or bracer in the DEs inventory so he can open the door

That's more or less it. We just kept getting everyone to talk at the same time, and if a person couldn't, we did there part on the way of coming back and forth for other parts. As it was said, the pumps must be done individually.
Binary liquids off of a Bloodguard and a Wraith tonight. Seems that all the Death Watch NPC's can drop either liquid.

Nice guide .. I love the map .. Planning different strategies.
I am determinded to do this place with only 2 people. We did the 2nd to last part of the Alumn Quest with me (Tank) and Lovo a rifleman.
Just need some Prot Coating now and all set to make some boots
***** for the map

Actually to get in the room you *only* need a DE with 1) an alum 2) a BH helmet/bracer. The Artisan however does need an alum + 5 jetpack parts to craft jetpack.
