GREAT NEWS ALL! I was looking around stratics and I foundan interview from E3!! "Wow? You found an interview! big woup!" Is what you may be thinking but I bring you this helpful quote.
"They are planning on making modular ships, meaning there will be a lot of pieces and parts that you can put together. It sounds like ships are going to be very customizable! They are also deciding on how many and which playable species and planets will be in the game."

Thanks Crazguy thats good news.. I may have read about it and totally forgot... Sounds like SWG may be shaping up to be an even more robust economy with expansion. Cool
Here's an idea and someone may have already mentioned it but how about a big facility that is built into the asteroid.like a small city. The facilty is protected by a glass like sphere and there are designated places to land to get into the facility. That would be pretty cool to view from outerspace whilst in your shape coming in for a landing.
I keep harping on this also off and on- I hope the dev. team really provides some new building art content. New and unique designs. Here is another thing that is bugging me. Why do all the building on one planet have to have the same design and texture. I could understand doing this for Tatooine but for the other planets there should be variety. Also ...How about a domed city? To get in you have to go thruh 40 ft high double doors.
Lastly ..lets hope SWG dev. put thecity- buildingart assets to real work. I would be nice to be able enter some of the static buildings. Not all of them but alot more should be accessible and those skyscrapers shouldbeaccessible also.

thats wut i figured they do, just like E&B, all ive got to say is we better haave a HUGE selection or ill be pissed, i still say tho that there should have to be a sepreate pilot profession fighters/transports/frieghters/personal would be the skill tree and wither more skill points or or a diffrent skill point e system, how ever BH, smugglers, SL should all have fly in their current tree... also they need to put betting in the game along with sabaac, then we could bet items, credits, vehicles, houses, and of cource ships..... also we need to be able to name our ships and have that name held so no1 else could take it, along with being able to walk around in our ship, joystick control, and in spaace it should be all pvp, cause if u have enough for a spaceship u can deffinently beable to protect ur self... now when u buy a travel ticket u should have to sit in the ship and fly there, it would be slower than normal ships which would open up player airlines, u should be able to "loan" ships and speeder, that could be a nice bussnes as well, u should, when a ship enginer builds ur ship be able to choose 3 off these : real space speed, real space movability, hyper space speed, durability, shilds, weapons, hyperspace legnth... the three u chose would be the three things u can upgarde on ur ship.... tho we should be able to get the faction fighters, none of the big ships those can be used as bases and "gas statinos"..... guilds should have coustome ships, there should be the imperal and rebal navy factions now u wont have to start over u can just be transferd.......well im out
Guild owned StarShips would be great if they worked like player cities
