can someone be more specific than this:
Once all the items are in the droid the MDE waits 30 seconds to start the first of two processes from the Mandalorian Forge next to the droid. Access the terminal, and select Continue when you get a popup message. Then you again wait 30 seconds to activate the next process. Access the terminal and select Continue once more. After another 5 seconds, the crafting is complete, and the schematic for the armor is placed in your inventory.
i'll write what i understand and please correct me.
1) put alum minerals(for example) onto droid.
2) put the rest parts onto droid.
3) wait 30 secs or more.
4) access to forge.
5) you'll get a popup after accessing forge select continue right away.
6) wait 30 secs or more
7) access to forge.
8) you'll get a popup after accessing forge select continue right away. and press complete.
9) done.
i'm confused a little when i look these screenshots:
after he puts all the components onto droid
after accessing forge, he got a popup
did he wait 30 secs on that screen to select "Continue". because if you look chat log, i understand that if you wont access to forge in 30 secs after putting the whole components, the process(crafting?) will shutdown.
may be i didn't understand because of my english knowledge. i just want to be make sure before going there.
thanks in advance.
Whoah!!! I literally just realized what your problem was when I looked at your screen shot closer! You are using the Mandalorian Armor crafting droid and terminal and trying to make a jetpack! The Jetpack droid & forge are on the second floor, the Mandalorian armor forge and terminal are on the third floor!
That is not him trying the craft. Those screens are from Doughbacca, who crafted the first Mando helm ever on TC, he is only using them for reference. Dough was indeed crafting a piece of armor, just so happens he had the Jetpack parts in his inventory also.
As for your question sicth, you have the right idea. This is exactly what happens...
1) Drop one item on the droid and mobs spawn seconds later
2) Finish dropping items on the droid
3) 30 seconds later a system message instructs you to use the forge
4) Use the forge and you get the hardening process popup, click OK
5) Approx 5 seconds later the same system message comes up again
6) Use the forge and you get the aeration process popup, click OK
7) Crafting complete, schematic for armor / jetpack deed appears in your inventory
better method:
1) drop alum
2) die
3) have cloaker or defender with ai get all agro
4) get rez
5) drop everything else
6) wait
7) use forge
8) wait
9) use forge
10) celebrate
that way if something gets messed up, you only dropped the alum, which is really really easy to get. ie. you auto-clone etc. Also, if you use a cloaker to get all the agro, you know for sure you'll be fine, and can continue crafting without having to worry. Once cloak gets nerfed, use an mdef with ai and derevish. have him take all the agro, and have everyone else kill off of his kills. (make sure he gets everything in melee range first). 5 minutes is forever. I've crafted a mando bicep with my armorsmith and had to sit around for 3 minutes. there should always be plenty of time to craft.
The most efficient team consists of one cloaker, one rezzer, one crafter, one puller/tank, and the rest dmg dealers.
It is possible to have multiple people take the foreman's quest at once, however I'm not sure if it's intentional (fairly certain that it isn't), so I won't explain how to do it. Although I have proven that an entire group can start the quest at the same time.
Rebreathers are very very nice. Loot them from bins (you can't do this on your own), or from mobs. (The miners have a high droprate of these, so killing miners is a good idea if you want one). It seems as though when making enhanced filters, a crafter with only master armorsmith uses gel packs at a 1:1 ratio, while a MDE/Mart uses them at a 1:3 ratio. That is, an MDE/Mart can make 3 filters per gel pack, while someone with engineering 4 may only make one filter per pack.
Learn where and how the mobs spawn. Never target coal bins or chests. It'll spawn an SBD. It is possible to loot without targeting, just think. Once you know the bunker well enough, you can do it very very easily. The difficulty of the mobs is not too high, and with proper training, the bunker can be solo'd.
ALWAYS heal yourself, and no one else. Use cloak to your advantage if you can. Use jedi tanks. Go to the bunker on leave. Talk in group chat, follow the leader. Lottery your loots. NO AOE. ever. if you are a doc or cm, too bad. your job is to stay alive and rez. load up a laser rifle and put in another 300dps.
The bunker can be very fun, or it can be incredibly hard. Play smart and you will have a much easier time.

Thanks for the updates - I have made the ones that were new information! It's folks like you who take the time to post corrections and updates that make guides like this possible.

Took a quick trip to the DWB on a TC server, and with the latest changes the highest CL will be the Overlord, at CL89; all the other ones will be lower. IIRC, the SBDs are now CL87.
I've always felt the CL of the DWB mobs should be brought down a notch, and I'm glad the devs agreed.

Just thought I'd mention all CL levels will be changed, it seems, with publish 24.

are you glad now that it can be done easier than ever? I took 3 people down there and did it as fast as a group on Live.... SBDs went down in seconds... this is a joke, the Geo caves are harder

Of course I'm glad it's easier, I have been advocating for exactly that kind of change for several months, I'm glad the devs listened!
