It looks like the Valarian quests are bugged roe me right now. I'm hoping a CSR can help me out in the near future. Here's what happened:

-- Went to the Lucky Despot in Mos Eisley and saw the revamped theme park with new NPCs.

-- Tried to get a quest, but was told I had to prove myself. I had pretty low Valarian faction at that point.

-- So, I killed a bunch of Jabba's guys and raised my Valarian faction to about +800

-- I talked to that quest-giver again (forget her name -- woman with blue skin and red eyes, like Thrawn), and...NOTHING. No conversation options at all. I think it has something to do with my weapon skill. I'm a novice carbineer, equipped with a carbine. If I switch weapons and then talk to her, she does respond, and says something like, "You're not powerful enough yet for the job I have." So, maybe I *am* powerful enough with the carbine, but the text is bugged?

I really hope they can fix it for me. I've heard the revised loot is pretty cool.

This is exactly what happens to me. Im also a carbineer.

Someone wrote this on another thread, "you need like 1000 to 1500Val Faction atleast to get her to issue missions."....so try to get that much faction and see if it works then.

This is a question for anyone who finished the Jabba Themepark. What kind of armor was the bounty hunter wearing for the first droid mission? It looked to be the closest thing ive seen to Mandalorian,.. and if I was the only one to see this guy? Did I screw up by not looting him? I died like right before he did. but my critter finished him off.

In any even I think that armor looks way tighter than Comp,.. and I cant wait for them to come out with some new stuff,... 9 out or 10 people wear Comp when yer hunting. Sick of that crap.

Nope, I have +5000 valarian. so this is definately bugged.
