Just for anyone having some trouble:

The Vreni Island badge (Grand Theater) is at waypoint:

-5412, -6293

It's a little way from the waypoint toward the theater entrance.

Well, I am confused.

There are 43 badges listed in the original list and I have been to each and every location there and received a badge. There are three other locations that also give out a badge that are not in that list. The aqua caves, the greater falls and tar pits (I have not yet been the to tar pits, only going on what I am told). However, right now the aqua caves are bugged.

Therefore, 43 (from list) + 3 (not on list) - 1 (aqua caves) = 45 badges. Can anyone clarify where I am going wrong here? I will soon go to check out the tar pits and see if that's all I need.

You are right after all I just dont remember visiting them, and when I count the badges it says I have I get 44. Thanks for clearing that up, though

I'm having a problem with getting the Kobala Spice Mines badge on Rori..

I've ran over the waypoint given in this thread several times, with no luck..?

Any help is appreciated..

almost none of the badges are at teh exact waypoint. you have to travel around the area to find them.

i counted my badges and i have 44 location badges, but i also got the master exploration badge for 45 location badges earned. i do remember having dublicate messages for a few of the location badges, that may have done it.

first, a couple of things....there are a lot of posts here that could be cleared up if only people took the time to read the other 4 or 5 pages. so here is a current update on exactly what is going on with POI badges as of now.

-Audio has 43 badges listed on his 1.0v *the first post of this thread*. All of these badges can be found in your POI tab in your data pad except one........."Downed Ship 5585, 1903 - not listed in POI tab"

-There have been a lot of posts about people not being able to get many badges. The POI waypoints are almost all exactly where you need to be to trigger the badge. If your at the Dathomir Tarpits, at the waypoint, and havent gotten the badge, then get off your bike, and run around in a couple circles. If your at the hyperdrive fac. waypoint and havent gotten the badge, then run inside the bloody building. the same for waterfalls, just wonder around in the waterfall, on top, below, and on the sides of, and the badge will be triggered. but please, spend more then a few moments searching around the waypoint.

-The 44th badge that is not on 1.0v is the "Greater Misty Falls 3021 1289". Get this badge by wondering around the falls.

-Some people have been wondering how you can get "explorer 10 badge" on your 9th POI badge. its simple, theres 50 badges. 45 POI badges plus 5 explorer/journymen/whatever the other ones are. for example, you have 26 POI badges, and the explorer10 and explorer20 badge. once you get one more badge, you will have 27POI and 2explorer, which, triggers the 30th badge, another explorer badge.

-Lastly, the 45th badge... we are 99% sure this last badge is the Aqualish Cave on Talus and that it is bugged and not giving out the badge. two issues have come out of this

---------the first that some people claim they got the AQ Cave badge. anyone doing so is lieing through their teeth. you CAN NOT get this POI badge, and ill bet the bantha farm on that.

---------the second is that many people have gotten the "Master Explorer 50th" badge. This is a bug as well folks, i have seen 2 people with the master explorer. after taking screenshots of his badge list, i had him do the same for me, and when i compaired the two, i had every single badge that he had. i repeat, thoes people who currently have the master explorer 50th badge ONLY HAVE 44 POI badges and 5 explorer badges.

i hope this helps people out, as ive tried to cover the major issues to cut down on some of the repeative posting. i am very pleased to see so many people intrested if getting these badges figured out, and hope to see more constructive posts in this thread. thanks for reading my "way too long" post, and good luck with badges
