So far, you can get the 45 Exploration badge (Master explorer) cause of a bug when you trigger a new badge. You might have noticed that when getting a new badge, sometimes, you see the system message 3 times in a row. If this odd bug happens when you already have 42 or43exploration badges then you'll get the Master explorer badge too but in fact you'll only have 43 or 44 explorationbadges not 45 (the code that delivers the explorer badges should recompute your total number of exploration badges instead of adding 1 to your total number of exploration badges every time a new system message badgeis triggered - poor coding here indeed).

There are 46 exploration badges in the client side files. One is unknown (the 'popular place') and one is broken, Aqualish. So, as of now, 44 exploration badges is the max but one can also get the Master explorer badge cause of this duplicate system message bug.

This bug can also give you a new 'badge collector' badge (5,10,25,50,75,100 and 125) even if you dont have the required total number of badges.

JohnCaponey, can you count the badges you have and see if you have one not on the list?

a guy i was just in the AQ cave with got the badge by killing the first mob...

I'm waiting for it to respawn so i can try.

That's probably cause your last badge didn't give you a dupe message.

Has anyone tried Toshe Station as the 'popular place'. Just a thought.
