I think the big question is, has anyone found Huff's niece? It just seems that until we find her and see what role she plays in this quest, we don't know for certain if it's still broken? Considering it's relatively easy to get another rifle, just have a friend do it who doesn't care about the quest, thosewho dropped it on the guard and lost it shouldn't be out of luck.
I have 2 accounts and will be able to get back my "stolen" rifle (damned guards). However, that is not the point. I wanted to use one rifle to get the skull, and the other to hang in my house. You all realize it is not an ordinary Tusken Rifle, right?
#!: The name is different (Tusken King's Rifle. Of course, I assume a Weaponsmith could name it this, so no big thrill.
#2: The stats are different. This one is NOT armor piercing, does more damage (>200)than a MasterCrafted one, has an incredibly slow 14.0 firing rate, and all HAM costs are under 30.
#3: A certification is required beyond the standard Tusken Rifle Certification. Riflemen with Tusken Rifle Cert (like myself) still get the "You are not Qualified - Reduced Damage" message.
Anyway, there is no sign of the Niece mentioned in the update notes. I checked all NPC's on the premises, even checed lower floors of the outlying buildings as well. No Niece. No, the NPC in the side room is not it. That NPC has been there fr ages. Gives random, crappy missions.
I WILL get a Krayte skull, but won't try this again, until I get word from you guys (NOT SOE) that it works.
For goodness sake, Don't they test their changes?? I mean really guys. I do web development, and if I made a fix and posted it without testing it thoroughly, it'd be my job. Don't you respect your client's (or even yourselves) enough to be thorough in your work?
Jeez, I should apply for a job there, can't be any worse.

I believe the neice is a target for one of Huff's quests. I don't think you getquests from her, but I may be mistaken.

Well I can now be added to the list of victims who have waisted theior time on this quest....
I did all the missions fine, got to huffs place, talked to the gaurd, he was sooo happy I got the rifle( the one given to me by borvo) ...he gives me a ledger to take to some guy...but gives no waypoint. I cancel the mission with him, and talk again..same deal.
so then i take the rifle from my inventory, and drop it on the guard..he says "good"
I then try again, and this time, guess what?
HE FRIGGIN ACTS LIKE i DONT HAVE THE RIFLE ANYMORE..AND WANT S ME TO GO AND FIND IT AGAIN!!!!!!!
**edit** IS UP WITH BROKEN MISSIONS...FRIGGIN DEVS SAY "OH, THERE IS CONTENT IN THE GAME"...GET A **edit** CLUE...BROKEN CRAP DOES NOT EQUALL CONTENT!!!!
Same thing happened to me, I tried dropping the rifle on Huff and he says 'notit'. So I figure, hmmm maybe it was a typo in the conversation, so I drop it on the guard, she tells me Darklighter will see me now, but he still wont talk to me..... If anyone has found Darklighters niece please post the coords. She may be a missing part of the puzzle.
