well, it appears the requirements change each phase of the plant..
it was going perfectly for me, nutrients and water on normal, when it was a small one... Now that it has grown, the growth rate is wilting and health is full of live... I tried alot of nutrient changes and nothing seemed to help.. I'm now trying with moving the water to moist. and the nutrients to above normal. Perhaps the water will help

Kenethreos, the real problem is that health/growth changes do not show up soon after you change WL/NL, unless you just happen to be at the change time-point. IOW, if you change something and wait a while, if the health/growth does not change then you don't know if 1) you just have not waited long enough, or 2) the WL/NL change you made did not help. So then you have to decide whether to change something else or leave it alone.
If you change something else too soon, then you may miss out on a positive effect. This is really frustrating. I have finally decided to just make some changes and wait about 6-8 hours before doing anything else, OR unless the health/growth changes. I don't know what else to do. I just hope I hit upon the right WL/NL before the plant dies

I just went back to my own plant after a 15 minute log out, firsth thing i did was go to it and eaxmine it and found same as before:
Health: Vibrant and Colourful
I said in spatial '%TT what is the air speed veleocity of an unladen swallow?"
and waited some seconds and rexamined it to find
Health: Full of Life
so again it improved after talking. am i going crazy? im sitting here talking to a item.

LOL. I've been messing with my plant the past few days. I talked to ita bit using %TT just as a joke. It'd be funny if it is actually a factor. I guess I'll have to keep up the one-way dialogue.
I also tried placing two torches on either side of it and it went From wilting/wilting to good/very slow. I had not added or removed any nutrients or water that cycle but the change could still have been a result of the current nutrients/water being expended.

Heh...I can't believe I'm talking to this thing. Status did not change, 10 minutes after I swallowed my pride and spoke to it.
Any info on how long it takes when it's growing well to go from "small" to regular to "large"?
Anyone get any fruit yet?

Mine grew today as well to the medium size - I started it Sunday night. When it was small I was keeping it at normal/normal and that seemed to work well. Now it is wilting and I need to find new levels

I've been reading all this diligently and hope you all continue with the info.
I will post my stats this weekend when I have time.
One thing I have noticed is that NOBODY seems to be specifying what they are using for water (DR and OQ) and organics (OQ, PE, FL, DR).
My plant is health : excellent
GR - very slow
I was using "greens" - OQ 1000, PE 946, FL 944, DR 827
Water - 979 OQ, 292 DR
Now trying "berries" - OQ 989, PE 964, FL 674, DR 973
As I said i'll post the growth stats and my feeding levels on the weekend.
Also talked to my plant tonight and played music beside it, as well as putting 3 lamps around it.
Meh couldn't hurt

here's what i've done so far....(as best as i recall):
-- Got the plant (9/4 or 9/5 i think), set it in my house. Plant health started off as good and growth was none. Made water level to Moist and Nutrient level to Normal.
-- Checked on the plant a while later. Health was good or fair and health was fair. Made water level wet and nutrient level high.
-- Next day, health was wilted and growth was wilting. Made water level drenched / waterlogged and nutrient level rich.
-- checked plant at end of the day and health and growth was unchanged. On a tip, i changed the water level to below normal and nutrient level to low.
-- next day plant health began to recover and growth rate was very slow i think. I raised the water and nutrient levels up a notch.
-- checked the plant a while later and growth was back to wilting. let water and nutrient levels back down one again.
-- next day, plant growth again recovered.
-- at this point i'm unsure how long i kept the levels like this, but it was either for most of the day or until the next day. By this point, i would slowly raise the levels to the current level of normal for water and nutrients. When i checked it before server shutdown last night (9/8), plant health was vibrant and colorful and growth rate was above normal i believe.
i'll try the talking thing as well

I've been watering mine every day and using fruit for nutrients, both 920 plus OQ,fior about the first week or so, ithas stayedat a growth rate of Below Normal pretty much the entire time, I've given it enough food and water to keep those levels at Normal.
Yesterday I noticed when checking it in the evening (after havingfed and watered it that morning as usual) that its water and nutrient level had dropped considerably, but its health was showing as Perfect, it took two feedings back to back to get it's water/nutrient level back to normal.
Same thing again this morning.
However, tonight upon returning home, to my surprise it had actually grown
I mean, I was expecting it's stats to change but not for it to actually visibly grow, very neat indeed
