You're a figher, right? You don't need advices on what to pick up for your jedi character. Mostly is on your playstyle.
You need advices on your alt because you need a solid business for cash. Pearls, food/drinksand top resoureces cost a lot and your jedi will be a black hole ... Think a good business (radiopower/hunter/crafter/looter/smuggler) and plan a strong activity with your alt. More, the best advice I can give you is "never grind your alt" cuz you're grinding your jedi already and 2 grindings can kill you!

im having a hard time figuring out the JEDI TRAILS or Knight Trails and would greatly appreciate a step by step explanation.

Knights:
They're turned off and can't be started.

There are currently no Knight Trials.
Do you mean the Padawan Trials? If so, check the guide marked "Non-FS to Padawan" in the Force Sensitive profession forum stickies.
