simple really... i move around the base....

The Sith spawns have a 10 sec delay between the time they appear and fade out... just use that time to take out a turret. I find once I take down the thrid one and get inside and take out the gate and ant... the Sithspawns out side the base don't bother me at all.

And when it comes tiem to move wait for despawn, click commander... and run like noob from a nuna!!!

my main problem is getting the guy to spawn and killing the 5..... Master Pistoleer just don't work will for Sith thugs

I mostly drawn the suckers out and run decoy..... haven't looted a remote myself as of yet... but still enjoying myself...

I like your attitude. Five stars for you. Me and my partner got it the second time. I think we average about the same amount of fu*ks thou. The first time we got the guy, walked him 6k back to village and he died inside the village walls. My keyboard almost didn't survive that one. Goodluck. Its worth it at the end.

Did this one on Sunday with a group of guildies.

Its by far one of the most fun missions this game has.

Keep at it the reward for getting it done right is worth it.

A tip to remember is you only need to kill 5 - Agro one away from you and group kill it away from the pack, rinse and repeat till 5 are dead.

This should spawn the commander, get your group to pull all the sith away from the base and one person runs in and gets him

worked for me and others but atleast your having fun

After getting a datadisk and not realising it was only a waypoint datadisk, I was well p*ssed off... In fact I was actually furious with SWG.

The next day one of my guildies went out and got the correct datadisk and got the remote, only for us to realise the remote needs to match a certain base and nobody had the waypoint to the base. Needless to say after driving around for 2 hours from base to base and more use of the F-word, I was well mad again.

But then I joined a group of folks and helped them out. Did the mission 3 times over the next 2 days.In fact I only got to bed at 3am on Saturday.

Its really good once you get the hang of it. Not sure the reward is worth that much to be honest.

My guild mate and I were able to get the commander out, but had a 9k+ walk back The commander died at about 5k. We were not happy!!! We will try again tonight.

One thing I would suggest is to find as many bases ahead of time as possible and collect as many disks ahead of time as possible. This was you can get multiple remotes from the Captain and go to the base closest to the village.

We got the Commander back to Aurilia and my friend got the unlock, but not the reward. He'd died behind the base and got a mission failed message. Seems like a pretty challenging quest and I can't wait to take another crack at it.

The turrets actually weren't that big of a deal. 2-3 zaps with the LLC and they were toast. It's the damn thugs and pirates huddled in front of the gate who are a PITA

We tried luring a couple of them away at a time, but as soon as we engaged the first two we lured back, 10 suddenly spawned on top of us. Our doctor had unknowingly gone AFK, leaving a Master Swords/MCH, a MS/Master Rifleman, and a MBH/Mpistoleer to take on like 12 of the thugs and pirates.

On the upside, the thugs that spawn on the trip back to Aurilia are only 12k HAM and light armor, hardly tougher than your friendly neighborhood Storm Trooper. Apparently the hard part is getting to the Commander alive We'll be trying again with the rest of the gang this week for sure.

I completed this quest on the first try with one other person. It was the most fun i'd had in a while. When it came to killing the 5 sith, we tried to pull 2 away from the group and we would each work on taking one out. We got the commander with no trouble. As soon as the sith guarding the front despawned, i rushed in and got him, waited for them to despawn again and ran out.

The 6km trip back was very easy and we didn't have to fight any of the sith that came after us. The other person I was with got on his swoop and /follow 'd the commander. The sith would aggro him and leave me alone. We eventually outran them because they aren't too smart. There was atleast 25-30mins left by the time we got to the village.

if i can't get it before the end of the week, I might hire someone just to help kill the 5 sith... you do what you have to... the sad thing is most of my guild is not doing it or doing the crafting, hard to nail down a partner...
