Hi Everyone!

This is my first attempt at any game guide so if you have any corrections please send them to me. Thanks.

Kashyyk

Rryatt Trail Mastery-
When you first arrive within the walls of the Rryatt Trail it is important that you speak with Achonnko (Master Trail Guide). Doing so will allow you to "teleport" to the beginning of any level you have already visited. Receive the Rryatt Trail Mastery Quest from him. (Note: there are no other known rewards for this quest other than being able to move around more quickly)

Rryatt Trail Trials-
Visit Krepauk the wookie at the top of the path to accept the main quest of this area.

-When you first speak with him he will ask that you prove your worth by killing approx. 24 Walluga Skullsmashers. You can find these down the path and they should be the first red dots on your radar. They are level 54 and killing them should be no problem. Complete this task and return to Krepauk.

-Your next task will be to kill a Crazed Ex-Jedi named Urootar. He is CL 58 and can be found on the second level of the Rryatt Trail near the rodian hunter camp* (it is wise to go ahead and visit Tressk and perform his quests at this point- see below). Approximate location is 0157,0566. Should be the only red dot on your radar at this point. Kill the Jedi and return to Krepauk.

-Your next task will be to Cleanse the Trail of feral wookies. They are located on a small landmass on the fourth level of the Rrryatt Trails. Getting around on the fourth level can be tricky because the terrain is bugged and you can fall through to the floor. If this happens, find your way to the nearest landmass and climb the hill- otherwise you will have to try /unstick or even possibly /eject. Once you have located and defeated the appropriate number of feral wookies return to Krepauk. (Note: This location is of importance for obtaining the Trandoshan radio in a different quest.)

-Your next task is to defeat Minstyngers on the lowest level of the Rryatt Trail. These creatures are not hard to find and you should be able to locate them easily. Please note that only Mynstingers from the shadowlands will count towards this quest (not the ones on the third level canopy). Once you have killed the required number of Minstyngers return to Krepauk for your next quest and a cool looking Mynstingar Hunting Trophy.

-Your final task is to Defeat the Katarn. It is wise to bring several friends with you to complete the Katarn quest. It is CL 87 and has many AoE attacks. My first attempt failed with 4 people. The same 4 people tried again and we made it. There is no particular strategy for defeating the katarn, it will always depend upon the makeup of your group. Once you defeat the Katarn you will receive a "Rryatt Trail Katarn Master" badge. Return to Kepauk for your Katarn Knucklers (CL req. 54/TKM/Kinetic/2s attack/358-715 damage/120 cold/0 accuracy bonus/2.7%wound/5m range/ 75 special attack cost) and a Katarn Hunting Trophy. Congratulations you have defeated the main quest of the Rryatt Trails.

The Minstyngar's Horn-
- Speak with Carl Mosik near the entrance to the Rryatt Trails. He will hire you to obtain a Minstynger's horn. These can be found in the Canopy or level 3 of the Rryatt Trails. Kill as many as you need to until you find the pristine horn but beware!! I got mine on first kill, but my friend is at about 18 kills with none. Once you receive the pristine horn a CL81 Blackscale gaurd will attack you. Kill him or run from him and return to Mosik once the "Attacked!" portion of the quest completes. Carl Mosik will thank you and offer you a Proton Carbine (CL req. 54/MBH/Energy/2.25s attack/428-855 damage/90 cold/0 accuracy bonus/1.6% wound/50m range/85 special attack cost).

The Trandoshan Radio-
-Carl Mosik will tell you to speak to his friend Zhailaut. Zhailaut is located directly next to Carl Mosik and he wants you to recover the Trandoshan Radio from within the Rryatt Trails. (I assume the radio is located in a Blackscale Base near the feral wookies on the fourth level. If anyone can verify please PM me as I have not yet completed this part of the quest as it is gaurded by 12-14 fast spawning CL 81 Blackscale Guards.) Per Forum Member Monkey 72, "Yes Parabol the Radio is in the Blackscale Camp on the Webweaver Level of the Dungeon. When you hit the first Spawn of Wookied you go right to the camp. What I did was burst run into the camp since I was solo and those NPC's hit DAMN hard. The radio is in the second tent on the left and is called a Long Range Comm Device I believe. I went incap right at the tent but was still able to take the radio while incap and complete the quest.I have not done the second part yet, but it is a space mission form Kyammar in the Cantiona that you get sent to.Thta is all I can help for right now on this quest."

Rryatt Trail Rodians-
-Speak with a Rodian Hunter of Ziven's Clan named Tressk. He is located at 0032, 0436 on the second level near the Crazed Ex-jedi. He will ask that you kill a specific number of Lost/Deranged/mad Rodian Hunters. They can be found in the canopy or third level. Once you have killed the specified amount, return to Tressk.
-Your next task is to Stop the Deep Woods Poachers which are located directly opposite the deranged Rodian Hunters in the canopy or third level. Kill the specified amount and return to Tressk.
-Your final task is to head to the lowest level, The Shadowlands, and defeat a specified number of Gotal hunters CL 63-75. You can kill any type of Gotal to receive credit. When you return to Tressk he will thank you and offer you a choice of two weapons. The first weapon is a Vexa Flechette Pistol (CL req. 50/Kinetic/2s attack/360-720 damage/0 accuracy bonus/1.2% wound/35m range/75 Special Action Cost) Thanks to Kellisanth for the info on the pistol. The second weapon is a Junti Mace (CL req. 50/Kinetic/2.5s attack/515-1030 damage/0 accuracy bonus/2.9% wound/5m range/95 special attack cost). I am not sure if this is a one-handed weapon or a two-handed weapon. Any input would be appreciated. "junti mace is a one handed weapon" Thank you Kodimoo

Thats all I have found within the Rryatt Trails. If you come across anything please let me know and I will add it to this entry. Thanks all and have fun!!!

You are right about the location of the radio I completed the quest last night.

The secret is to burt run into the camp and run to the hut on the upper left of the village inside the hut is a transmitter on the a box simply target it and select pick up and you will complete the quest.

The downside is that there is no reward and when you talk to the npc that gave you the quest a second time he will simply offer you the quest again.

If this is what I think it is, the Radio -is- the reward, you can get quests from it using an option on the radial. I think.

Yes they will need to get there, but unless they have already visited The Shadowlands and completed the Master Trail Guide Quest they will not be able to teleport all the way down. But, all a groupmember needs in order to have access to the lowest level is to walk there manually. It's not very far, and if they are CL 72 or above they can run the whole thing without having to worry about stopping to kill agro. I would recommend they speak with the Master Trail Guide so they can go ahead and pick up the quest to getporting rights while they make their way through.

There is no requirement for going to any level of the dungeon.

Hope this helps you!
