hi im wondering if there is a way to remove all in game e-mails. i must have over 1000 e-mail i have colected over the past 18 months. but as soon as i try and delete more then 5 at once my game freezes up. takes me 10 seconds to open my e-mails up due to the amount on there.
its not a pc problem as i have a 3200 64bit, 1.5 gig memory, Gf 6800gt and on a 1mb conection. i, also a qulified PC repair person and work in the business
just wonderng if there was anythng on my side i can do to remove all e-mails or do i have to contact aCSR as it seems that e-mails are kept on the server side of things as you still have them all after a fresh install.
P.S what ever happoned to where you was removeing all old e-mails from the game as i have some back from July -Dec 2003

I found that the freezing up is actually only temporary and if you wait long enough, it will clear itself up. At that stage all mails are selected and you can delete them.

I believe the command is /mailsave
/mailsave only saves them to your harddrive, it won't remove them from your mailbox.

The reason that its freezing up is due to the server access to retrieve all the e-mails. I did the save command and saved over 1100 e-mails the other night. To delete them all, click on the first one. Then, holdthe 'shift' key and click on the last e-mail you want to delete. Then, just press the 'delete' button on your keyboard. You may freeze for a few moments but you will return to normal after its done deleting them all. Hope this helps you out!

then break it into chunks.
do a few hundred at a time or something so it doesnt end up locking up the system instead of just freezing a bit whiel it accesses all that data

Hold Shift down Select top mail.....
then Bottom mail
This will select all emails, then delete

If you're over 10k then I'd go with this. Perhaps resizing to fill the screen from top to bottom and do a page at a time. If you are saving these first, I know that my 1k worth took about 8 to 10 minutes. God only knows how long you'd be doing that with your numbers!
