What happens when they search you anyways? I had a rebel signet ring and a sliced gun (whos description said it might attract imp attention) and got searched...nada happened...

You go lucky. They don't always find the contraband, even if you have it. However, sometimes they find stuff that isn't there. A couple of months ago I was running home with nothing but the clothes on my back on a few K of resources when I get stopped by the stormies. I thought, "Sure, I'll stop. I don't have anything bad on me." Imagine my supprise when they declare me a rebel and open fire.

I was in bestine once during what looked like a Storm Trooper Convention. While out in the admist of them all, one of them declared me having illeagel contraband and wanted me to stop. So like any good role model citizen, I said to myself, "screw this" and ran like hell. After losing the storm trooper i lost 50 of my Imp Faction Points.

I wonder if those scans actually work as they should, my inventory is packed with sliced things, yet i have NEVER failed a scan, and i have had alot of them. And no, im not a high ranking imp, im a high ranking rebel.

I think spice sets them off more but not sure.

If you're an imp and dont want to be scanned then just get to Warrant Officer 1 or higher and they'll never bother you again.

Same here : rebel, searched for about 5 times last month and they never found anything.


Did anyone failed a scanafter pub 9 ?

I do carryMuontoo,I actually have everything they are supposed to scan for: Spice, sliced weapons/armor, rebel gear (And also I'm not a smuggler, never have been, so no bonuses there). Never fail a scan.


Maybe the STare just too scared of me or something... yes that must be it! LOL

Seems to still be working. I'm neutral and got fined 420 creds this morning, despite multiple sliced weapons and several crates of muon. Tho the previous 4 scans(all in the last week) declared me to be clean.

Got scanned by stormtroopers 50 times.


Walked away safely 50 times.


Even with 30 sliced weapons in my inventory. Me being a low rank Rebel and always carrying some muon on me they never find anything.

Yes I have failed. I am a colonel will 11500 reb points. Everything I have is sliced. I fail 50% of the time. Anymore I just kill the stormie before he can declare me.

It would be nice if they gave us our money back after we waste them. I get stopped, and fined for 360 credits. Ok, flamethrower time. Wheres my 360 credits?

Also, try this for kicks:

/slap stormtrooper

/spit, /lick, and a few other emotes work as well. Their response may vary depending on your alignment and rank.
