You might have to break down and submit a ticket. I haven't seen this problem before. Kinda wierd...

When you were a Rebel and you did the quest did you get the ticket? If so you cannot get another one while still haveing the first. So delete it or something...

If you don't have it submit a ticket...

Easy fix. Talk to an NPC in any given town that will give you a mission. They will say you are busy working for someone else. Then ask if you want to be freed from this prior obligation. Say yes. Now go and try to do the Corvette mission.

Going to a random quest NPC and getting them to clear me always worked for me.

My sig is of little use now due to the fact that I have quit.

One of them even had damage done ot them like a commando flamed them. Whats with that? Isnt the missions for myself, instead I get stuck in a another runs mission with 20 sbds.

The same thing happened to my team today attempting the assassination mission. SBD's stacked on top of SBD's. The hallway leading to the room where you get the Officer's quarters passcode had 16 SBD's in it ( I counted them ) Needless to say, things didn't go well at all...

Used to be, SBDs were only to be found in the Engine Room, but now they spawn normally (a stupid measure the devs put in place to prevent soloing, which doesn't work at all). As such, they can be found in huge clumps, randomly, pretty much everywhere. There is ALWAYS a huge clump in the small loot closet with the armoire and defunct droid, off of the five-passage junction on the lower floor.

The strategy is: run like a beeyatch.

P.S. The SBD you mentioned that was damaged was attacked by one of the NPCs on board the Vette. The SBDs can and will duke it out with the other NPCs, as soon as you spawn. Sometimes you can hear them fighting through the walls when you're in the first room. Usually, however, they target you exclusively enough that you can't really train them on each other; they'll fight if you're not there, but as soon as they aggro you, they forget about each other.
