Is it not possible to use underscores to target a mob?
For example :
/target a_giant_dune_kimogilla

Make a macro with the following:
/ui action cycleTargetOutwards;
Whack it on your combat toolbar and it will switch through all the targets in front of your avatar. Sorry mate, thats the best I can come up with.

I wish
I use the target command to see if the acklay is alive from outside the cave, but sadly I can't use it to check out things like giant dune kimos and other animals.

Bah, dont tell me nooby tips stuff I just want to know if that can work.
Pfffthhh.. /ui action cycleTargetOutwards indeed. ![]()
Btw you dont even need to make a macro for that you can just assign a key to that in the keymap under Target.

have you tried it with the spaces? I know I can target vendors with spaces by typing the full name.

Try logging into the game and seeing if it works. Dont flame everyone who suggests something different because you dont like the answers!

Har... gotta love the O boards... you lot are really funny...
I did try it... I searched the boards and the web for hints as well, seems you couldn't do it in EQ either.
As I say I vaguely remember hearing of a way to do it...
Now would someone like to post something completely pointless so that we can preserve the nature of this thread?
