please help me here. i got the pole, i equipped the bait, i cast my line, then what? i tug in all different directions then when i get a bite, i reel in. nothing. if this isn't the single most retarded fishing mini-game of all the games i've ever played in my life, i don't know what is. any and all help is appreciated.

Well EQ, Legend of Zelda (the 1st one on the GB, I can't remember), Bass Master Classic and others come to mind...

make sure your using eagle brand hooks.

They make all the difference.

Anyways, I've never done it myself but I think it's all about reading the feedback from using the fishing rod with the bait and performing the "correct" maneuver to reel in the fish. I couldn't find it in the manual and I doubt they have it in the gameholocron. You might want to search for people who enjoy SWG socializing and exploring using the social matchup thingy (can' really search, but you can change your prefs) b/c I know a lot of fishers who have that value in their profile. gl
