WHAT IS TEAM SPEAK?
Teamspeak is a quality, scalable application which enables people to speak with one another over the Internet. Teamspeak consists of both client and server software. The Teamspeak server acts as a host to multiple client connections, capable of handling literally thousands of simultaneous users. This results in an Internet based teleconferencing solution that works in a variety of applications such as team mates speaking with one another while playing their favorite online game.

IS IT FREE?
Yes. It is free to use because a member of theStarWars GalaxiesServer Community has offered to host the TeamSpeak server for you ([email protected]), but you will need to download the software in order to connect to the server. Go to the offical TeamSpeak site at http://www.GoTeamSpeak.com to download it for free. You will also need a microphone to talk into if you want to be heard, you can buy a basic microphoneat any office supply store fora couple dollars.

Can I Create My Own Channel with or without aPassword?
Yes you can, but before you can create your own channel you have to register with us, contactus first at[email protected] first. Once you register with me,then wewill enable you with certain access levelsso you cancreate/admin your own private channeland you can createadditional channels within your own channel, etc.

Please lower all other sounds when speaking.

Please be aware if you use voice activation to speak,otherwise, usea input key.

Please be aware that all users have the abilityto record conversations, but I would not worry about this so much, just don't say anything stupid.

You're actualy objecting to a valuable and free community resource? He wouldnt need to keep reposting if it was not for the retarded new rules on bumping threads

Some threads need to be burried but ones like this deserve a bump. Thanks to the original poster for the info. Not all of us troll the forums daily and may miss this good stuff.

Something else that could help - I know still not many will see it cuz I think roughly the same % of players use this feature as they do the boards... a couple people on different servers could run a macro advertising the service via the auction chat. Not sure what else we could do unless we can convince someone to sticky the thread.
Personally, I think SOE should be running TS servers for us, but that won't happen.

That would be cool if SOE had an official teamspeak server can you expect how many players would use it.
