Thread: OK..cant get missions in the Village

I did one mission where I rescued 5 villagers...QUEST COMPLETED and got reward item (sculpture piece)
OK now I cant get missions, everyone I talk to says that I have an assignment from someone else and to come back when I am done, but I have NO missions or assignments to do.
What is going on here...bugs bugs bugs.

Correct. So gind out your XP so you can convert it to FS XP to fill up the branch you just unlocked.

Yep. SWG logic. If it doesn't work like you think it should, come to the forums and claim its a bug. Don't bother reading ANYTHING about it. Don't bother looking around on the forums, its not like there isnt a couple posts stickied in the Test forums, tons of posts in this forum about the phases, tons of posts in the jedi forums.
Just blame it on bugs....that usually works for people that don't know anything.
BTW, if you haven't unlocked in pub 9, you shouldnt even be anywhere near the village IMHO. The unlockers should be the only ones there right now. As it stands, a friend of mine has been in gameabout 20 hours since WH came up after the patch, he unlocked in pub 9 and hasnt seen an old man. If you didn't unlock, you shouldn't be there.

THats half the problem with this game. People dont read stuff, if you had read forums and important threads then you would know that its 1 quest per phase, and the phases are about 3 weeks.

I am sorry for thinking that after 2 months the DEVS would have more than 4 quest in the Village, I am osrry for thinking there might be side quest.
I am sorry for thinking that because they said I had a mission i was supposed to be working on when I did not, that there might be a problem.
Why not say, "You are done for now, take a deserved rest?"
If half the problem in this game is that people dont read, the other half is a-holes like you you two.

a-holes though?? If we are a-holes for making you look stupid (your post did it alone, I just decided to help out), then so be it 
BTW, if you are on Eclipse...that makes it even better
And I wouldn't have been so harsh on someone with, like 25 posts, and not on a server that got cloned to Test for testing purposes.
However, someone with 903 posts and on Eclipse should ATLEAST have known that there were phases, and that only 1 quest could be done per phase.
Could they have worded it better? Probably. Would you still be confused? Probably. Would people still be complaining?Highly Likely.
(FYI, theres posts on this exact same forum stating the quests. read before you post. 900+ posts, you obviously can write and spell....read.)

ok seeing how you have been there maybe you can help me out i got my visit old man gave me quest crystal and left no info i am assuming i have to find the shrine and meditate before i get letter saying i am welcome into village could you please verify this for me

your an a-hole for not givinga simple answer...a nice answer...like most do.
Your not an a-hole for making me look stupid, because...well I am not stupid, and thats not the reason I would call anyone an a-hole.
I didnt do my clone on TC, well...cause I think its a waste of time. So no matter what anyoen says, I find it a waste of time. Sure if I did it on TC I would know about the phases, and I would have suggested saying that the NPCs change what they say, but again, I would rather play my jedi and such.
But oddly I knew there were phases, I just didnt think for a second that SOE would make this big village and talk about how great it was and so quest oriented, and only have 4 quest. I completed my quest in like 20 minutes, wow. Seemed quick to me, thought there should be more...much more for 1 quest.
I bet your just bent cuse you never unlocked or something else childish.
And the majority of my post are for trading you jackass, not game guides.

James, I believe from what I have seen and heard that you are going to run accross2 sith and kill them before you go to the village, I dont know for sure. The sith are supposed to be really easy to beat. But be careful, asking questions in this game can get Jasmine on you calling you stupid, which is behavior I saw in Diablo II a lot.
