Thread: Need Help with Imp themepark

Title says it all.... Im up to the imperial inquisitor and he give me an escort mission. When i get to within 30m of the waypoint the "Slicer" attacks me... I know this is probly due to me having -5000 thuug faction, just wondering if there is a work around for this or if I should just go on a mass murdering hunt for townspeople.... Please help....

On a side note i would like to complain about the fact that i dont have this problem with the rebels im supposed to escort on the prvious mission even though i have -5k rebel faction.... go figuire.

try going 50m away, target him and type /conv


That way I believe you talk to him without him attacking you.


or I may be completely wrong

a tactic i use is (providing the npc is weak) peace before u get to him and when he starts to attack u just slowly walk away whilest hes still attacking you, and dont fight back just keep walking away but so he follows....after a certain distance he will quit his futile attack and run back to his previuos location and he will peace with you..you can then if fast enough converse with him before he has time to aggro you again.

Yeah they removed that from the game so it wont work anymore.

But this does, you have to be fast and have /conv ready, like he said just get the agro run away peace-ing and as soon as he breaks off agro and runs away, run after him get close (about 2-5m i think) and hit /conv until it works.


It sucks they actually make you go through that and im amazed they have yet to fix it. I mean you cant realisticly get townspeople faction points in order to talk to these guys normaly.

The /conv distance has been reduced to 30 m. Some months ago you could do it from 100 m, but it was stealth nerfed. One method that works is to go prone and crawl to within 30 m then /conv. This worked well with most of the NPC's that will aggro on you during the Imp theme park; however, after trying multiple times with the slicer I gave up and tried plan b.... The other method (that works for all the NPC's you might have trouble with during the Imp theme park) is to just kill the guy and /conv with the corpse. This may be a bug, but it works.

/conv with a corpse? I must say I had never tried that, but as Ras'Beema said yeah the /conv distance is only 30m now. Little tip would be to equip a weapon that you are not certified with and continue to peace the NPC till he gives up and then spam /conv at him like a mad man. Personally I put /conv in a macro slot and just kept hitting F1 (it's location) till he gave in.

Yup... The conversing witha corpse thing does work... Thats how I had to complete the theme park a few weeks ago...

Best thing to do is make a macro hotkey for the conversation command so you can spam it. And if your TKM like me ride your bike past him so he agro's but you don't kill him with one punch Then peace it and run back to him conv should work from about 30m as mentioned above. You have to do this three times for the Imp themepark.

I made this little macroafter I had him targeted I ran the macro


/conv

/peace

/macro conv


and of course named the macro conv. I unequipped my weapon and walked to him and then he agro'ed me and I walked away. It took about 10 minutes of me walking from him but eventually he broke agro and the conv worked.

Just kill em and /conv with the corpses. That's what I had to do the other night and I was able to complete the themepark.

I know this is off topic a bit, but how is it that overt rebels can camp this site and not get attacked by the guards? I was running back and forth running the theme park missions and got killed by an overt reb sitting in the hall way! I don't PVP and didn't even have my armor on so my chances were small, but I wasn't expecting an overt to be sitting in the middle of the hall. We fought 3 feet from imperial guards and several troopers who did nothing!


sorry for the off topic rant, but take it as a warning. There are overts that occasionally camp the theme park.
