All this talk of exceptional/legendary weapons makes me wanna go out and get some. But what mobs do they drop off of?

Night Sister most likely, there sometime a RARE drop from Krayts/Kimos but thats rarely. Go hunt NS, but watch out, Rifleman can't hurt Protector, Spellweaver, or Stalker, 100% resists to all our damage types.

Do the uber T21's only drop off of elders or do they drop off other things?

Alternately, you could kill Singing Mountain Clan (which are just as high level as NS) and we can hurt ALL of them.

I've also heard of high level tuskens dropping exceptional T-21s. There was a post about it a few months back.

You could also loot the stones of tusken executioners or witch doctors and give it to the merchant behind the museum in bestine for a lithanium rifle.

FYI, you do not just walk out and get them. You'd have to kill hundreds of any high-end mob to get just one useful rifle. Even more for an Exceptional one. Don't even try to get a Legendary weapon unless you plan on buying one. Millions of mobs must die for one to drop and I'm betting that's on a reallygood day
