Thread: Glowing question

Hi,
I haven't logged on much since pub9ish because I was waiting to do quests to unlock. I logged on the first time tonight and did the /check and I got a messege "You feel an Inner glow the force is with you"
Now I am wondering what do I do next? Do I just log on every day for about10 minutes or so and see if the old man will visit me? Is there some kind of queue so will I not get my unlock for maybe a month???

New rumor is to dress up like an old woman.
Then visit retirement homes.

Just run a macro bot till something happens.

Or you can play the game and do what you want to do. Don't worry about it.

The Old Man found me when I was doing rebel missions...then the siths came also...hmm...just do...whatever you like...thats the only "real" strategy...

I know there are already a few guides to glowing and they take forever to read though. My question is do you have to be on Dathomir for the Old man to visit you. I know you have to be in the wilderness and not in a town. But I haven't seen anything that says if it matter what planet you have to be on. If I miss it somewhere I apologize for my stupidity.

Just play as you normally do. Planet does not matter, location does not matter. I was visited in my player city, just outside my house. There have been many guesses as to strategy... but just play, he will come! Good Luck after he comes, you have to wait again for the Sith's

I think the old man steers clear of non player cities, but we've had him in our PC and he visited me just outside, took 36 hours or so for the sith to turn up after that.

how much of that was actually time spent online?
just curious cause i was visited yesterday and was told its like 6 hours of actual time spent online.

The old man showed up around noon on sunday, I played for the rest of the day, logged and got attacked by the sith shortly after logging back in on the monday evening at about 8pm.

I believe that is incorrect, contrary to popular belief. I got my visit outside Kaadra, around 200M from the cloning facility, while getting a probe from orbit. Maybe he won't visit inside the city, but he will visit around it.
