I don't know about Endor but Yavin is where they regularly spawn.

Yes, they have normal spawns. I have seen them while traveling from the one base to the other (smuggler to researchI believe are the names) (about halfway) and they were not associated with the 0,0 spot.

I know they spawn on Yavin. I've heard rumors that they spawn on endor, and I'm having trouble finding them even as a ranger.

You will have trouble finding them as a ranger because tracking (most of the time) doesn't pick up things that are already in the area unless they have appeared on someone's radar. In general tracking will only track 1) static spawns 2) stuff that has already appeared on radar, and 3) stuff that spawns while you are in tracking range.

I have found groups of them regulary on :
Dath
Yavin
Endor (not the 0,0 spawn lol)
Shouldnt need to tell a ranger about the problems with tracking
Im just missing two bits for a ful set of BH armour. All bits where looted from random spawns found using /areatrack. Anyone who says /areatrack isnt usefull in finding these spawns is mistaken.

Thank you for the confirmation.
I've got 3 pieces of Bounty Hunter armor from about...ohhh...let's say 120 Black Sun deaths.

I remember a few months back i spent well over 100k in travel and buffs trying to get somen BH armor. I after a week of killing Black sun and not looting anything but credits i gave u. If I were a melee profession I probably would have continued to kill them but MBH really sucks.

Did you ever get a BH piece off one from Endor or Dathomir?
As for the tracking, it has it's moments but it works as I described (about 30% as good as it should)
I'm just saying if you set up a perfect tracking grid (hexagonal with 866m separation for no gaps within the 499m radius) thinking that it's going to pick everything up it ain't gonna work like it should. Still need to run around and crayon all the spawns out.

1: Yes - helm from Dath, bracers from Endor the rest from Yavin. (this was a long time ago then and i believe drop rates etc have been "tweaked" since......
2: I know tracking aint perfect mate , but if you know how to use it properly then you stand a much much higher chance of finding what your looking for. Get two rangers working together and your laughing
(as long they know what they are doing).
