How about a vote for the Christmas Present 2004 ?

We all remember the Holocron which everybody got back in 2003.

So what would be your wishes for 2004 ?

My first wish would be: Holsters ! Wearable and functional ! I am playing since Beta and that is the thing that i allways missed in SWG ! Would make a nice present for me :-)

My second wish would be: Capes ! Wearable capes like Lando, Darth Vader or even Count Dooku wear. I think these are missing badly in SWG.

hmm christmas 2004. I can already guess what some of the "loser" population will wish for. They will probably wish for jedi. But for me I would probably wish for something to happen to Bio engineer profession to make them more worth while or for another anniversary thing where we get special paintings. Well I dont know what the little people at SOE (Santa's Online Elves) have up their sleeves this year, but here are a few wants of my own :

1) A way for non-combat professions to unlock the second character slot. (Not everyone want to be a Jedi, but I do think it a bit unfair that there is no other way to unlock a second character slot)

2) Maybe as a gift, let everyone have a special dye/paint that they can use once only on anything they choose. Weapon, clothing, furniture, basically any item that cannot currently be dyed one crafted.

3) How aboutaspecial "Unlimited Free Listing" token. Basically the token allows you to use the Bazaar tosell up to 5 items with noFee, andthe price is not restricted to the usual6000 credits.

Which reminds me, have I ever mentioned my idea for a kind of portable vendor or "Market Stall"? Something I was toying with the other day that only Master Merchants can do. Basically my idea was that a Master Merchant could use one (or possibly two) of his Vendor lots to call up a special vendor called a "Market Stall"that he can place in special designated "Market Squares" in the Cities. Maybe restrict this to specific places - like the current Bazaar areas or other appropriate places - I am sure each city has somewhere that could be re-assigned as a "Market Square".

If the graphics that are currently being used all over SWgfor the existing NPC market stalls coudl be re-used, with a vendor that you control pretty much in the same way you control your normal vendors, then a whole new trading aspect of the game could evolve, with regular markets and marketplaces. I would say that these vendors maybe need to have a few special considerations, and maybe a few incentives for player-run cities to set up these Makket Areas. Some I thought of would be as follows :

o The 'Market Stall' vendor can only carry 100 Items.

o There are no restrictions placed on the prices that can be set on a 'Market Stall' vendor. (ie No 6000cr limit)

o A Master Merchant can place a 'Market Stall' vendorfor a maximum of 2 hours per 24 hours.

o There is Fee for placing the 'Market Stall' vendor, which is payable to the City Council (SOE if non-player city)

o A very small percentage of every item sold is also payable to the City Council (SOE if non-player city)

o The Master Merchant can choose to restrict the sales from his Market Stall by Faction.

how about for one day all our starships are turned into red sleighs pulled by ewoks with a bumber sticker that reads WWYD (What Would Yoda Do) and we all fly around Kessel for a day blowing each other up.

My christmas wish would be that they'd deal with storage issues. I need more than 250 items in my large house.
