Thread: BARC Speeder Info Here

Greetings fellow earthlings

I could use some more information on the BARC Speeder / Total Experience purchase. My Total Experience
package arrived today. I just wanted to know how I go about receiving the BARC Speeder on my current live
account.

After looking over every bit of paper I could find, I only seem to have located one serial number, this is located
on the back of the manual that came with it. Do I just add this number to my current live account and hence

receive the BARC Speeder? If so, does this mean I can't then use this number to enable JTL and RotW on
my other alt that currently has just the basic Empire Divided? Or am I supposed to receive a seperate serial
number entirely for the BARC Speeder?

Any information you can provide me will be a great help, as I don't want to mess up somewhere and end up
losing the serial number in cyberspace completely.

Thank you

Edit: Altered topic title slightly.

I was under the impression that the pack gives u another account and the barc will be applied on to that char - which means u cant applied the expansions of the game to ur current toon. But having said that, you'll prolly be able to trade the barc ingame as long as u can load up both the new and ur old toon up (i.e 2 computers or fiddle with game settings to all ow 2 instances of swg to be on the same comp as once)

TH made a post not too long back saying something about being able to apply the BARC Speeder
to a current live account. I've been trying to find his post so I can link to it, but the search facility is
down AGAIN and I gave upsearching after looking through 50 pages manually. I'll add a link when
the search comes back up again

Woops I didnt see this post and just made a new one with the same topic.

I remember TH post but he also said that he would have to check on it and would get back. I havent seen him get back on it yet. I sent him a PM and hope that he will reply with the info. Im fine with trading the speeder. I just wanna make sure that the acct that I tie all this to has ROTW and JTL after. Altho he already has JTL I want ROTW for him.

Personally I'd use your key on the account without JTL, than just /claim the speeder and trade it to your main account if you want the speeder there. Or you can use the key on your main account, which will enable you to /claim it, but you won't be able to reuse the key for JTL/RotW on any other accounts. You'll have wasted it, since the speeder is transferable.

Yeah I'm thinking I'll probably do that. But I read a post in the issues thread that
someone with the total experience box didn't get their BARC Speeder in game,
and that was with starting a new account with the boxset.

Just wanted to see if a Dev had any useful information before I commit this $45
worth into anything hehe.

I bought The Total Experience and applied it to a current alt that had JtL enabled but not RoTW. Once I launched the veteran reward window popped up and i was able to claim the deed and prompty trade it to my main character. Good thing too, because my alt expires today

For those of you who are contemplating getting it forthe BARCor RotW through The Total Experience.

  • You can activate Rage of the Wookiees on an existing account.

But..

  • You will not get the 30 days if you activate it on an existing account.

And

  • If a new account is created as normal, you will get 30 days.

If you already have JtL and RotW on your main account,

  • You'll have to activate a new account to get the BARC. Even if you could input the TE key to just get the BARC for your main, it would probaly be a waste of money since, you know.. You would be paying $30 for an ingame BARC speeder.

Also,

  • As far as I know, it isnot possible to split the key so you can use Total Experience to say start a new account, activate JtL on another, and RotW on a third.

Thanks for the replies

I have one further question.

Is the BARC Speeder like the Flash Speeder in regards to replacing? Meaning, if it gets
blowed up, could my alt just claim a new deed for a cost?
