you have to enter the myyydril caverns. after going all the way to the end of the caverns, there is a droid, who gives a quest to retrieve a crystal. you must go back into the cave, find the crystal and then head back to the droid. once you converse with the droid, you will be warped into a room that contains an NPC to talk to. converse and then prepare to fight

this is all i will say, as its more fun to figure out stuff for yourself than it is to know step by step exactly what to do. part of this game IS exploration.

No, the only things I wrote were that the CURB would handle the imbalances in the old system, which it has. I knew from the alpha documents that Jedi would have reduced saber block, but I was saying that it would be countered with better defenses available (they are available) and offense (devs have messed this one up so far). I mostly was just telling you you didn't have all the information, which you didn't. I also said, contrary to you, that Jedi would not have the Jedi starfighter to themselves.

One post of mine even says: "And who said my thoughts on alpha were going to be good? I didn't..." Doesn't sound like estatic to me.

Accept it. you were pimping a pup. I told you so.

No, I was right in saying that you didn't have all the information. My sig has been the way it is for a long time. I have issues with the devs that remain and have not changed. You have nothing to say. You went around saying you were a "prophet" when I knew you didn't have the information that the alpha testers had seen. That's most of what I was saying to you, along with things like "Not to say everything about the CURB is good". It has accomplished some of the things it was supposed to, along with a host of other problems. But nonetheless, you have nothing to say to me.

Have you managed to find your "not-Jedi-only-after-all" Jedi starfighter yet?

Ok, now I will tell you why this kind of post made me and the party who fought our way down into the Myyyrdir Caves very angry.

Well, we fought our way through this hellishly reptitive series of caverns and gangplanks; we found the droid and then got the crystal; we went back to the droid to teleported us through intoi Greivous' chamber.

All this took us three hours of not very interesting and not very tactical or strategic hack and slashing (oh, by the way- for EQ2 lovers everywhere, a 'Mystical Shaman' gives you - I quote - 'a magic stone' for doing a minor quest on the way which, if you activate it, allows you to 'gate' back to Kashyyyk SP so at least we didn't have to fight our way back).

Once we teleported our way in, we gave the crystal to the NPC who activated a series of robots. They were all L92 and - though there were six of us in the party all L80, including 2 MDef Jedi - we all died in seconds.

Can you see what I'm getting at here, swetheart? If you'd given us proper warning or told us waht to expect, well, we wouldn't have wasted the evening. Oh, and no, there was no way to 'figure stuff out'. We didn't know the droids were L92 till we got inside. There was only one way we could have known, and that was if you had warned us. Well, there may be a solution involinv the destruction of some power cells at the back of the cave but we had to get through the droids to reach them.

So - for those of you who DO want spoilers and warning; be careful before warping into Greivous' Cavern. Either it is broken or else it requires a strategy which we have not yet discovered. If you have a solution, be a dear and post it.

Yes, any mother that would help her child's education by teaching them to at least try and figure things out for themselves would be such a horror. /endsarcasm

I don't want afull description of every single aspect of the new quests, since that would rob me of the fun that other people had doing the quests. A hint here and there, sure. That's what Zina provided. "Start here and have fun" is what the message implies.

There's no reason nor justification to flame someone that wants you to enjoy the quests, which you will if you don't have a "Go here, do this, watch out for this spawn, then do this" walkthrough.
