Thread: FYI: Clone Armor quest is BUGED & NO ARMOR GIVEN

I just wanted to let people know that the quest is current not giving the armor at the end of the quest. My ticket was denied & it is, as of today, listed as a known issue.


Just look under Control H under Customer service & the Top known issues tab.


I hope this helps others not to miss out on the reward.



This was patched this am 5-12-05... but those who finished the quest & did not get the rewards prior..... are still screwed.

They have not replyed to my ticket yet, but I know I was 1 of at least 6 in the cantina asking why they did not recieve armor. I have a feeling we will see this issue repaired and with all luck recieve our reward for the quest.

I left my toon afk barking that the quest was bugged & advised them to look it up. I hope it saves a few the problems we have.


I usualy don't like the afk barkers..... but this time.....

yea it is generally bugged, and i really want my armor... i hope the solution from devs wont make us the quest again, it is not hard but visiting many places are boring to do it twice... so, i am hoping ill recieve my armor when they fixed it without trouble...

CS replied to my ticket yesterday, saying that they cannot verify whether we received the reward or not, therefore they won't do anything. They've "forwarded it on to development for review," however.


Given the overwhelming number of issues with this untested quest (holos, overloaded inventory bugs, current bugs), they seriously need to consider a Talus quest reset NPC.

When did all this happen as I have done the quest on 2 of my toons and got armor both times. 1 set is the Neutral and the other is the Reb set

I did it the first time on Sat & got the armor, but no hologram. then I did it last night on my alt & got the hologram, no armor.


So I am guessing with yesterday's patch that fixed this quest. lol

Just did the quest. Got the Holo, didn't get the armour, Great Job SOE. Fix one bug but create a new one.

They can. However, verifyingthat someonedidn't change faction and handed over the armor to a friend temporarely sothey can get another set in the colorthey want takes a lot more time. It is my experience that the csr's CAN determine that we have completed a quest. The can log in as us and look at our quest journal. One of my alts had a quest reward messed up and the csr did this very thing and placed the reward in my inven. This was a year ago, so not sure if their policy has changed. My thinking is that since there so many of us now, that it would be impractical to do that. The ywill prolly just fix the reward bug and say "sorry bout yo bad luck, ya have to do it again." /sigh. Oh well, whatcha gonna do...but do the quest over. Luckily, and i say that lightly, the quest isnt hard or long or too tedious. I just hope they fix it soon.
