Thread: Bad Black Sun?

So me and a guilde went out Black Sun hunting yesterday and no luck. We killed a little over 30, and not one loot peice. I only ask this question because I know from experience the DWB loot drops are borked, and the Black Sun are also DWB NPCs. Has anyone else experienced very low drop rates on these guys?

yep, drop rates are low, just keep at it. A friend and I killed about 22 the other day and got a few bicep peices. We were lucky. But for the most part, if you can get one in 30, thats a good thing.

yeah, maybe I was just used to pre-Cu when you could kill 30 in about 30m because of that respawn... now it takes so long

FYI, BH armor no longer drops. You now loot Mandolorian armor components.

Just to clarify this for those who may not get it, Bounty Hunter armour still drops, but pieces looted post CU are not equipable. They merely sit in your inventory and are nonequipable components used in the crafting of mandolorian.
Pre CU stuff is still equipable but cannot be used to craft mandolorian armour UNLESS you use the "dismantle" option on the radial menu which turns it into a mandolorian component but cannot be worn.
Basically those who have pre cu suits should avoid dismantling whereever possible as you cannot (Currently) replace it with warable pieces.
In terms of loot drops ive personally killed around 40 since the CU and looted one bracer (which was great as only bracers and helms open the DE/Jetpack room door)

ahh, thx so much for the info, I was not aware that you could dismatle them. I have a bracer so now I can finally craft my jetpack... now if just those PLCs would start dropping more...

over here i personally havent seen any plc's or binaries drop. i have 2 plcs from pre cu so am hoping we might be lucky on one of our next jetpack runs

yeah, same here... 6 DWB runs, 2 Ducted Fans and a Fuel Dispenser Unit, also a bunch of stabalizers

Thats why I got myself a full pre CU and an extra helmet, thinking I'll maybe make a Mando helm in the distant future! 
Btw, my second helm has a condition of 80,000 out of 94,000, is this worthmore than usual?

they are random spawns on Yavin 4, Dathomire, and sometimes Endor... CL 88-89 I beleive
