The NPC that gives out the quest is still around in dathomir outpost, so I guess the item itself is still around too

OK .. any idea the name of the NPC.. or should I just ravage all NPC in the Dath outpost?

Singular Nak is the guy, he used to be bugged and you could get an inventory full of these things in under 5 minutes.
Hes now fixed and I think you actually have to complete his mission to get it now.

ive got 6-7 in my bank, you reminded me to go check my bank and that what a found, and a couple holocrons

I actually did this the other day and i got the anciet lightsaber from the person i was sent to killed. I did not go back to him because i thought he would then take the lightsaber i looted.

Alrighty I have been playing for a little overa year.. (1 year 2 months etc.) I went to my bank and went duhh .. I forgot about these. I have x-amount of Ancient Broken Light Sabers.
Do they still (spawn)/loot etc.?
Or are they extinct?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can put it in your backpack, then go back to him and cancel the mission, then retake it and get as many as you want.

Actually, no, just putting it in your backpack is no longer enough... the NPC will search the backpack, and *might* search the bank,for the item. There is a way to keep the item, though. :-)

The NPC will search it. You could also drop it in a house, but that might take a while. So it is a good idea to stop by Singular every time you go to Dathomir.

Great Info everyone. Thanks. In order to hinge my lust for a real lightsaber.. I think I will go get a few of these to tide my hunger a bit. Again Thanks.
