Thread: broken viewscreen poster crafting bugged?

Hello,


I was strolling tatooine and got me a bunch of loot. I got the items to make me a poster:



  • Broken handheld viewscreen

  • Viewscreen printer

  • paint cardridge

  • paint dispersal unit

  • viewscreen techn. console

  • blank canvas

I thought, how to make a poster?


Well, when i putted the paint cardridge over the viewscreen printer (inventory) it dissapears into the printer, so i did with the other items. But the handheld viewscreen wont be able to get into the printer. When i open the printer inventory....nothing in there!


What am i doing wrong? Are some tems bugged, or is there another way to craft the poster. Im a bit confused now

I *think* there's another peice that goes in - not the viewscreen. One moment.

Maybe this helps



Yea I see your problem - you were using the wrong type of broken viewscreen.

where ON EARTH did you get those from !!!!! i've spent weekslooking for them and never found a thing.

from the sounds of it all sorts of NPC now drop these things as of today (Publish 12)

yep its bugged, waiting for reply from a csr / live issues forum bout this, i was extremely pie'd off about this especially when i wasted about 10-20 bits of loot hoping that if i kept doing it, it would eventually work. More the fool me eh lol

Not everything is bugged, I know that for sure. Crafter 2 of the paintings myself (one came out a bio engineer painting which I already looted twice and another one is the double helix)

I tried to drop components into the container and they wouldn't go in... but then i dropped the broken viewscreen over the container and out popped a cargo print, leaving behind all the components. Odd, odd indeed.

the picture painters seem to be working fine apparently (got one made alst night)


but the veiwscreen painters are the ones that are messed up, from what i can tell anyway :/

I just made a painting with the Viewscreen Printer, it is NOT bugged....


The Viewscreen printer need the Grey type viewscreen and the picture printer takes the orange type...


The printers do not list items in them like the Rug Kits do, have to remember what you put in and each printer takes different items like the Viewscreen Printer takes the Technical Reader while the Picture Printer does not.

Indeed you are correct! I guess the guy I was hunting with last night didn't add all the components. BOTH printers are working a-okay.

I can confirm that the Picture Printer (the one that uses the tan viewscreens) is working. I made two yesterday and both turned into the Bio-Engineer poster (can anyone guess how annoyed I was???? ).


The other kit is bugged, and CSR doesn't care.

So, the Broken handheld viewscreens aren't the correct viewscreens right?
