Thread: Uber CA's & AA's Where from?!?!

I have been playing SWG for nearly a year and have never come across some of the awesome stuff other players have picked up. I mean, a +25 Melee Defense AA! +5 and more experimentation tapes and so on, the best I ever looted was a +1 exp CA and a few minor under +3 combat prof CA's/AA's.
So, where do you guys get them from?!?!?!?! 
If anyone can help I would so appreciate it.

the uber ones come from Nightsister Elders.. it takes lots of time and determination and disapointment to finally loot one...
you can get lots of nice ones around +8 to +15's from Nightsister Spell Weavers and Sith Shadows.. of course you might get lucky and loot better, or unlucky enough to loot worse..
the lower-than-nice ones can commonly be looted off of Aa'kuans from the planet Talus.. you can try the cave (Aa'kuan Champion's Cave in your Datapad's POI) or better yet, Aa'kuan Champion missions which pays 8900-10k depending on the city's status (job market)..
crappy ones (+1's and +2's) are usually gotten from stormtroopers and jindu ewoks (at the Jindu Ritualistic Cave on Endor (also in your Datapad's POI))..
don't expect any SEAs overnight.. you may have to kill a large handful and then some in order to get just one.. sometimes you might get lucky and loot a bunch but don't count on it.. be patient, and kill kill kill =D

It is hard to gage where to get your supposed "Ubber" CAs , AAs, and SEAs. The can drop off of simple pathetic beings such as meatlumps to the highest of beings with a little more promise like the Death Watch Overlord deep in the bowls of the death watch bunker. I myself once took down lord nyax and looted a +5 combat medicine experimentation and sold it promptly for 5 million credits however I have been back there since then and found him almost always taken by someone else. So really it depends on who you loot and I guess just your amount of luck. My starsider toon went on a treasure hunt and to his surprise looted an artisian experimentation tape +2 from the bin. Not a bad little item really.

if it helps, which it wont, someone on ahazi just had an auction for a +9 rifle speed AA (which i bought) which they got from a treasure map!

from my own experiences, which basically don't include ns's of any kind..
+1 primarily and up to+2 from very low level mobs like meatlumps
+1 or some +2 primarily, but upto +4 or so from low levels like valerians
above that to around +6 or +7, the highest i've SEAs i've ever looted, from various force guys on dant (on intrepid i go SW from the imp outpost 700-2000m)
(of course, experimentation etc even +1 and +2 would be rare loot so they would less likely be dropped from meatlumps etc)

The blackhole stormtroopers that they spawn in live events can also drop some if you'r lucky.

ive been playing since launch and the best ive ever looted is a +4 rifle speed AA while doing the emp's retreat.

Got a +7 medicine experimentation from one of the Dark Troopers in the naboo weapons facility.

i think i've heard this before, and i am guessing you mean looting when you happen to come across mobs, do missions etc. for myself, say doing valerians, i've got a macro running while i sit and chat, and can kill like 20-25 of them per minute, so that's a lot of killing, and maybe after an hr there's around 100k+ in creds and typically 1 adhesive per hour maybe an SEA +2 something.. after 2-3 hours maybe by then a +3 or +4 has dropped, plus another adhesive or two. i can only imagine what NS lootgrinders are doing in their time heh. when i go hunt random force guy spawns, the 12k ones i can drop in <1min but there's lots of biking around. the 25k force crystal hunters for me takes ages and if i'm lucky can kill 10 in an hour with maybe a nice drop or crystal.. maybe..

If you were smart enough to do a search first you would find 105,453,300,540,400,340,489 posts asking the exact same stupid question. Basically go kill a NPC with ham above 30k period.

I looted a +5 Food Exp bandoleer from Ft. Tuksen as well as a +6 Rifle accuracey CA.
From the Nitesisters I got a +8 2-hand speed AA (Best I've ever seen!)
But Ft. Tusken is a whole lot esier to solo than the Nitesisters... so best bet is to go there unless you team up with some good healers.

I've looted a +25 defense vs posture change(down), +23 intimidation (in 1 sea) from the person you need to assassinate in the neutral corvette mission. Funny thing was that we were just about to use the escape pod when I thought about looting him, so I went back up andlooted this little jewel.
