I've been playing since launch and done lots of professions (remember the bad old days of holo grinding?) Anyway, I've remarkably come back to one of my original templates of tkm/master doc. I'm going to stick with this template ... well ... probably forever. So I've decided to maximize my position. I sold piles of old rifles, pistols, swords etc.. and used my profits to buy the following skill tapes:

1. unarmed accuracy 17

2. unarmed accuracy 8

3. unarmed speed 12

4. unarmed speed 13

5. unarmed defense 19

I want to do this right. I'm thinking I'll put #1,3,5 in a bio engineered shirt and #2,4 in some melee/ranged defense 16 pants. I could wear armor as a master doc but I never do ... but if for some reason I decided I need it later (i.e. armor break protection) I could still wear the shirt. As I write this I am thinking maybe I should get the a melee/ranged defense shirt instead of pants so I could also get that under armor.

Anyway, what do you think of this strategy? Any suggestions or refinements? Also ... since I only fight with my adk'd knucklers I have 2 extra adk kits .. should I put them on these clothes? Can I add additional attachments after they are adk'd?

All responses are appreciated

I would suggest:

BE'd Healing Efficiency Shirt using 1, 3, 5*

Gloves using 2 and 4

That will allow you the freedom to wear armor should you chose to, as gloves offer no protection.

You can add CA's and AA's to clothing/armor respectively after you add ADK's.

*Alternatively, you MIGHT think about putting them in an Unarmed Damage BE'd shirt in the hopes of them fixing it. Of course, if they EVER fix it, they may not fix legacy clothing, so you may still be screwed. However, seeing as not ONE red name has acknowledged them not working, it may be a snow balls chance in hell of it ever getting fixed. Same for melee/ranged defense clothing....

If you can find some gloves or boots with sockets then that might be your best bet. You can wear boots or gloves with armor without worring about an armor hole.

I believe if you put more than one of the same type of SEA on an item only the highest one will stick. So I would suggest placing them on different clothing items.

Recheck his CA's....They way he designed (as did I), the shirt would have 3 different mods (accuracy, speed, defense) and the gloves (or boots, pants) would have 2 different mods (accuracy and speed). Its set up correctly.

gloves and boots .. never even thought of that .. excellent idea. I didn't realize the melee/ranged defense stuff is broken... but then again ... strangely I am not suprised.

You can go:

Boots

Gloves

Bando

Belt

Shirt

Thats enough for20 attachments and allow you the flexibility of wearing armor.

ubese shirt would kill my innate armor and with a bandolier I'd lose my pack. One friend suggested not doing adk's but using clothing repair kits .. but doesn't that put me at risk of a critical failure repair with millions of CA's ruined?

Well, right NOW, clothing still works with zero condition....

Right NOW. But you never know what they are coming up with next.

They seem to be leaving crafters and their wares in the dust, so I wouldnt worry about it for at least a year or so.

I would suggest using an undershirt and a bandolier because they are the only two items of clothing that can be worn with a full suit of armor.

Instead of ADKing I suggest you either don't (Clothing can be worn at 0 condition and the tapes will still function) or you get a Ubese shirt which has an innate no decay.

Are all your tapes single mods? Because any second or third mods on them will still take up sockets and you won't be able to fit all of those tapes into 2 pieces of clothing.

Doesn't an ubese shirt kill innate armor?

Didn't know that double mods took multiple slots .. they are all at least 2 mods ... that may be a problem then. Wonder how long clothing will work at condition 0 ... I've got millions invested in these tapes
