Thread: Help me with a UBER Skill Tape PLEASE!

So i got myself a nice tape yesterday, the stats are listed exactly like this below
One Hand Counterattack +9
Rifle Speed +9
talked to a few people and had trouble finding the posts relating to this on the forums here. I want to get the rifle speed to stick obviously since the first stat doesnt exist.
I am pretty sure if i drop it into a shirt it is going to give me the one hand counterattack +9 ONLY and the rifle speed will disappear,
How do i change this to get it to work. Do i need to drop a +10 one hand counterattack in there? or do i drop a +1 One hand counterattack in there?
Any help would be much appreciated, many thanks

no you need a +9 one handed counter at least or a -1 1h counter would do it

Duel stats stick in alphabetical order i think so you'll need a +10 Counter on the item before hand to null it.

Might I ask where you looted the tape from and where a good place to get tapes from is ? I just picked up Swordsman and the buy price on skill tapes is absurd.

force crystal caves dantooine, they RARELY RARELY RARELY Drop Tapes, i was hunting them for crystals cause they often drop premium crystals
Ikill them no problem as a master swordsman with a scythe and have a friend headshotting them from a distance. always keep intimidated, these guys will plant NASTY bleeds and chokes.
Ok i know for a fact when you take a -1 tape and drop it into a peice of clothing, it disappears, and DOES NOT use a socket, not does the stat come up. this was fixed a few months ago so when a negative tape is used nothing happens.
Not to say that skill tapes with multiple skills and one of them being a negative will do the same thing. I had a +8 Taking Cover and a -12 steady Aim bonus
The Steady aim bonus was listed first, the tape disappeared, this was 5 months ago
a month ago i tryed the same thing with a exactly the same skill tape (not same stats but negatgive listed first and 2 stats) and the positive tape stuck.
ANYWAY, the general consensus is that i need a +10 1h counterattack tape i guess. a +1 wont do it right?

Right. Id lso say you need a +10 counter.
I have never tried applying tapes with both positive and negative stats tho.

ive been there and the only thing it says is that the tape which has the first alaphbetical order will stick, so in this case the one handed counter will stick, but it doesnt mention as to what if they are the same and how to get one to stick over the other.
Some ive talked to claim to have put a +10 tape in only for the first stat to go up to +19 lol
I guess i may have to throw this tape in my bank account along with all the other tapes that i will never get to work until its fixed. I would LOVE if they would fix it so that if a peice of clothing has 4 sockets, you can drop 4 tapes in and get all the stats to work properly, that would be SOOOO nice. I hate wasting my time looking for a +15 heavy weapon speed tape for my +5 riflespeed attachment to work lol. My Best useless tape at the moment is Food experimentation +15 and Repair +7

You will need a +10 !h counter attack tape, I had a +10 1H damage with +10 rifle speed on it, after finding a +17 1Hdamage aa after 6 months I sold both recently and no un happy customer yet
