Do you have to set these options every time you log in just like all the other chat settings?

No, it is stored in different file so, problem affecting chattabs to reset does not effect color settings.

One very good thing to colorize is your own name. Make it stand out in chat so you easily see when someone is trying to talk to you etc.

Funny this should be a tip since a few days ago all my chat colors went to white and can't be reset.
I've tried manually changing all the colors as well as using the RESET DEFAULTS button.

Anyone have any other ideas I could try?

Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

GROUP MAILING

Using your UI the search you can find people with the same profession. This is very helpfull when looking for friends as you now have something in common. Add them to your friends list and repeat 150 times that makes a large group that you can change the comment on to what ever the profession is. This is very helpfull with group mailing as you now have a captive audience, cant do a slice cause your hunting send the mail and let someone else have the business.
