YES it works, when you place items in a storage droid and you have them set on the task bar, you Autopull them out the Droid. Pretty handy in combat!!! When I do the corvette I have placed all weapons in my droids (no decay) and when I need a weapon I click on the icon Twice and I equip the weapon (first click is place the item in your inv, second is equip)

I thought I'd share that with you guys

SWEEEET !
I always have my PvP set in the storage of the droid, because it is secured by decaying when dying. now i just can call it in need w/o calling the droid first. thanks for sharing this..5 stars.

Good te hear you can use it

I accidently discoverd this, when I did the corvette and placed all weapons in a droid. I accidently pressed the button of a weapon and it was in my inv

I hope everyone can use this little trick

you were told it was an exploit by a veteran player, not a CSR or a DEV. Am I correct?

I fail to see why would it be considered an exploit. Dont forget that in combat you will be delayed if you try changing items, so the only advantage is actually recovering it without summoning a droid... though it can be done during battle (this is probably why it could be viewed as an exploit).

If you had exploit confirmation please let me know.

There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: this glass is half full. And then there are those who say: this glass is half empty. The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

I searched the Threads and nowhere there is a Dev or CSR that states this to be an exploit. It makes sense that it works this way, you give the item to the droid, by dragging it onto the droid and when you need it a press on the quickbar releases the item to your inventory (the droids are in your inventory, datapad) So it would amke sense to be able to get the item out of there quickly (or automated).

Hope thsi little trick helps the everlasting storage problem and the like....

I agree, but it's kinda funny for me to contradict TH and have him not say anything.

I thought I'd share that with you guys

a) It's always been that way; well, not "always" but for a long time now.

b) weapons don't decay on cloning anyway, just armor, clothes and tools.
