Ressources Quality
Overall Quality and Shock Resistance are paramount to having a good final product. Sum of OQ+SR must be superior to 1600.
For all armors You can add a few hunting trophies, likeJanta Hide,Nightsister Layers, and all kind ofhide, scale, segment, layer, shard, shell, plate you ever looted.Tobrighten your armorsmith's day, add somePyollian Cakeand a bottle ofBespin Port in the Backpack.
YOUR PARCEL IS READY !
Contact your armorsmithby mail precising any special resists you'd like. Crafting delay should range24-48hof after ressource delivery.

OQ + SR are the most important, you want over 1600 ideally, but wel you wont get that most the time.
Mal is third, determinmes 50% of encumberence
UT is a distant forth, determines 50% of condition.
Some AS dont really care about mal/ut

Ceremonial is like Chitin and Black Mountain like Padded (but with different special resist of course), otherwisea good guide. You shouldn't expect all armorsmiths to do this for free though.

well, equivalents are debatable, thats why i said "rough equivalent". BM equivalent to ubese was stated by devs.
I didnt include any AS service pricing as it is highly variable and currently highly debated topic.

Awesome post m8! It's always interesting to see what other crafters need to pull together to build something.

Neige,
I bought some Hunting Armor (with a wookiee alt)yesterday from Kerrah on Eclipse, and it also had Energy Special Resist of 66%. You might want to change your list to reflect this.
Thanks, great list!

If energy layers are used in the armor, then it will have an energy special, but it does not by design. Just as Composite only has electricity as a special by design but is frequently layered with kinetic and/or energy.
Hunting can also be layered with stun (Black Mountain can, too, but to a lesser resist level) which would then make stun a special.
The ONLY armor which can be colour changed after crafting is Composite. The feature was originally implemented to combat a bug which made everyone's composite black after a publish in December. The ability to change Composite's colour was put in as a temporary fix in January.
