Is there some kind of /tell command for guilds that you can send a msg to everyone who is currently online. Not in email but just an ingame tell??

Umm, it's called guildchat. There should be a tab for it on your chat window.
EDIT: Fixed a typo.

There isn't (as far as I know) an equivalent to /tell (i.e. something which both appears by default in the spatial window and makes a noise when it arrives). The options you have are guild chat as mentioned (/gu for a shortcut) which requires that your guild members are watchingguildchat, or email

Well he did give you the only answer there is that i know of. To my knowledge there is no multi-person /tell.
I guess you could try the planet tab if they are all on the same planet..but they would have to have a tab for that as well. Looks like youll have to do some training to get people to use guildchat or check their mail when it is blinking and they get the system message "you have mail".

I dont believe there is a way to do what your looking to do. Mainly because that's what guild chat is for, to contact people in the guild. /tells arent set up to contact mulitply people at once..you would just have to send each individual person a /tell, in which case guildchat is a lot easier, and hope that the person you're trying to reach reads it.

There is an option for "multiple tells", butI don't know which one is; try putting a comma or another one between target names... then if it works, make a macro of it.

I actually dealt with this problem once, and what I went so far as to do was alias a command to send different messages to everyone online... I never really use em tho. I can't specify a message, but the one i like most sends a tell to all my guild members saying 'Please check guildchat' where I then say stuff

Easy way around this is to send a e-mail to guild, andtell them to configure one of there chat tabs.
They just right click any tab, and select add.
Call it whatever they want, then have that tab read spatial, guildchat, and tells.
Then they get the best of both worlds and no clicking back and forth from guild chat to spatial.

Or just modify the existing spatial tab to see guildchat as well

The syntax for email is: guild;<shortened guild name here> and I think they fixed it so you can grant admin access with this as well, so it's entirely possible that a /t Guild;POW <message> would send a tell tomy entire guild.
Personally, I'd just send 'em all an email guiding them thru right-clicking over their existing tabs and selecting modify, then adding the other tabs (guild, group chat, planetary, etc) so thatguildchat willshow in spatial, planetary, and groupchat.
