hey there.
OK for one thing, I am in no way glaoting like the one guy said. This Carbine is not great by any means and it was not worth my time.
I had the smooth stone for months that I looted from the tusken executioner. I finally gave it to a merchant that spawned at the bestine vendor area. It was the first time I had ever seen that merchant, and the most I had ever seen in the vendor area at one time. I dont know what more infor you could want. It was around 5 pm eastern that I went there.
OK, didnt know how to post pictures on imagedump and the one I had said it was too big, so I cut it down to the stats thinking who would actually care, there are better weapons.
So then after being called a liar and people saying I photoshopped the picture, as if I could do that, I posted another picture.

Also should point out that this is some SUPERCRAPPY loot for this quest/reward.

What am i to do with the smooth stone. The guy in bestine (Victor) said look for a merhant that keeps weird hours. Anyone know where the merchant is or what it does???
UPDATE:
Now Sean is in power, and says he wants to do some work on the vendor area behind the museum. So I got there, and there are FOUR new merchants under tents. However they do not talk. Anyone had any luck with this or know anything more.

I was finally able to turn stone in for lithitanium carbine.

If I were you I'd have a jedi take a look at it. See if any hidden stats pop up.

Wow, that looks exactly like a krayt pearl and the description says that it has an "almost crystaline luster" I would be willing to bet it is another Lightsaber component

Easy way to check it. In your inventory, just hover over it with your mouse. If it says "Melee Weapon Component" then its used in Lightsabers. If not, its just another quest item.

Might of found out the answer about the stone that you got. Was walking around bestine just a couple mins ago talking to all the npc's and i stumbled onto the new market in bestine (if im remembering right its a little bit behind the museum). In this new little market there are a couple junk dealers looking for certain things. One of these junk dealers is looking for certain kinds of stones. On top of that he also goes into saying to talk to Victor (think thats the right mayor, the one that gives u tusken missions) to find out where you can get these stones for the junk dealer if victor is in power. Not sure what the guy gives u in trade for the smooth stone but probably something good since this guy is one of the new junk dealers. Hope this helps
