Well, I got into the RSF upon getting JtL, and I didn't know I couldn't shoot at impies etc.. In space as an RSF Pilot. So, I was wondering if I could switch to CorSec or Privateer, and how I would go about doing that.

I would say Corsec or RSF is much easier than SA - not that SA is a huge challenge, other than those looong escorts near the end.
Corsec or RSF will also mean you don't have to mess with the Jabba's palace stuff, bugs and otherwise.

I'd have to say RSF, since not having Imperials attack you = good.

I would agree that RSF is easier then Smug. Alliance but I did Smug. Alliance when I was a noob pilot and didn't really understand to much how to manage my ships payload which is what made it more difficult to me...
Any squadron is going to be tough when trying it solo especially once you reach tier 3 cause thats when you really start getting swarmed.
Enlist the help of other players. Its shouldn't be a problem to you asking for help. Especially when you get to the corvette mission in the end. If you don't know how to properly solo it it can spell doom for you quick.

I solo'd SA when I was a noob without even using droid programs, cause i didnt know what they were. It was pretty tough, and took a long time too

I would go Corsec. The missions are pretty straight forward. Not many bugs that I remember. There is one mission in tier four that you will probably need help but that would be true of just about any squadron for a new pilot.

The rest is just filler

A wha?
It says somewhere that SA is the easiest of all the pilot professions?
Don't trust, "somewhere," trust those who have flown 'em. For a new pilot I would think those swamping waves of decimators and TIE Agressors at the end of T4 could cause a real problem for a new pilot doing SA. On the other hand, it was either RSF or Corsec where I had an escort and never once got attacked.
