Thread: Which MOBs drop Skill-Enhancements?
I see people saying they have 50+ of them. They must be getting them from the same type of MOB. Can anyuone share their secret as to which MOBs to go after if your looking to pick up a couple of them?
I've been doing Imperial missons near Bestine and it seems that one in 5 or so Rebels drops one. I could be way off base, but those were my results. I'd be the more difficult mobs drop them faster.

They seem to drop like water off the NPC's around Jabba's palace, mostly Valerian's Thugs. When a enhancment is attched to clothes, or built into armor, it is permanent, as my +3 carbine accuracy boots, and my +2 carbine accuracy while moving gloves will attest.

I've seen them, but how long can you use them? Do they last as long as weapon powerups, or are they different?
They are permanent attachments to clothes or armor with sockets. Any armor or piece of clothing that has sockets will have a yellow name in your inventory instead of a white one. If you examine it you can see how many sockets it has. Drag a skill-enhancing attachment onto the clothing/armor and it becomes a permanent part of that clothing/armor, and you have to wear it for it to take effect.
I have not seen any armor with sockets, but I have seen clothing with up to 4 sockets. From the posts I've read, no one has seen armor with sockets yet.
Also, if you have an attachment of one type, don't put another of the same type on the same piece of clothing, as the new one will overwrite the old one... for example, I put a Grenade Experimentation +1 attachment on a pair of gloves with 4 sockets, then put a Grenade Experimentation +3 on the same pair of gloves. When I examined the gloves, they had Grenade Experimentation +3 (not +4) and 3 sockets left, so the new one overwrote the old one. So if you have attachments of the same type, put them on different pieces of clothing.

There is a third skill enhancer I saw on swgcenter but I'm not sure what it goes into.
