Idid this in less than one buff session too

You know, I still do not get our devs. They give us these printing loot kits, which will make a painting. But some npc's will drop the paintings themself.

One type of mission, namely, HuttExploration Team NPC's on Yavin IV, which are like 4,200c missions, will drop not 1 but8 different paintings/posters.

The Hutt ExplorationNPC'sON YAVIN IV drop:

Bio Engineer Poster Party Poster (very common)

Cargo Port Blueprint

Spitting Rawl (TKA poster #1)

Defensive Stance (TKA poster #2)

Freedom (nice looking poster)

RIS One-Sheet (the RIS armor poster)

Valley View (kinda like the Endor Woods painting, but smaller, still very nice)

The thing do to with the Hutt missions on Yavin though, is don't kill the lair. Just go into your datapad and "abort" the mission. There are also 5 NPC's per mission, so you get a lot of guys to loot.

This way, you can go back to the terminal and get 2 more missions. I ran all of my missions to the south of the mining outpost, and each time I went out, I'd go to 4 to 6 missions that had respawned plus my 2 new missions. I think after you wipe out all of the NPC's in a mission three times, it goes away, because I noticed after awhile, the npc's stopped spawning and the thing you kill to get your mission fee (lair box) were gone too.

Well, anyways, no need to go nuts trying to get silly parts for these 8 paintings/posters, you can get all of them, and plenty of them, just doing the Hutt Exploration missions from a Yavin IV starport mission terminal.

If im not mistaken ther is a few paintings that you cant loot. Like the droid painting and the correlian house blueprint, those i think are only from the painting printers.

Yeah the Droid in Contrast, Double Helix & Corellian Skycraper have to be gotten from the Chunker/Sleemo loot pieces. But all you have to do is camp a spawn on them in either Dearic or Talus and you can get tons of these paintings too. The Sleemo's and Chunker's are nice, because once you kill and loot one of them, they respawn immediately. It does get annoying if either run off into a building and you can't target them or if they run off and go into the water.

Droid in Contrast & Double Helix come from the Painting Printers, to get the Corellian skycraper one you gotta get an extra component, the grey, not tan, broken viewscreens.

I certainly hope this is what the dev had in mind. These things are not combat enhancers ( well the stims are) there silly little things to drop in your house. Who cares what the drop rate is on them. I am all for there drop rates being insane so that I can actually go out and get some stuff with out every single stactic spawn filled with some afk macro-er trying to make a fortune with his uber loot shop.

This has been the most fun loot hunting I have had in a long time. Me and 2 other guys went out last night just to kill random spawns of npc's around the wilderness on several planets. Drop rate is high enough that you don't have to camp some starport spawn to actually get something. We spent 2 buff sessions goofing off looting silly little schematics then another 2 hours finding crafters to make the stuff. So what if its a bowl, chair, bottle, table, ect that has no real use it was a blast and we plan on doing it again tonight. Was great chatting over what we justed looted, trading one item for another.

I for one applaud SOE for finally putting in something that is fun and does not seem like a chore trying to get.

I too am happy with the new loot. Of course in another week or 2 everybody will have everything they want.

If history is any indication, more loot will get added soon and the current loot will become rarer with tables being updated with new items. Seems like a good plan to me.

Gotta say ...mixed on the drop rate...I enjoy the loots and being able to collect them (still trying to find the spinner blades)...however this could be a whole other sales market crashed....as an up and comer adhesive paid for my survival (up until market flood) so uber loots and some rares would be a nice one to keep...I also wonder that the Devs aren't simply flooding the servers with new content during the first few days of update...allow for new contentvisibility..then sudden drop off...the drops will make the moaning winds of Lok seem like good company

A thought anyways
