Thread: PvP guide 1.0.1 *Final revised version*
Now lets start the guide.
600-ish instant heal to your mind for 30-ish filing not often used but useful in a tight situation where you need that little edge over the opponent. (drink)
650-ish on focus and willpower, 33 filling, 9 minutes, a great help if you don’t have musician buffs, and even if you have, the effects can be very beneficial. It has a short duration true, but it also has low filling. Eat three of them on top of a musician buff, and believe me, even those FotM Riflemen will wonder why your mind remains full. (food)
43% Damage reduction for 42 attacks, lasts 23 minutes, 29 filling (most likely the effect will have been used up before those 23 minutes are over). This is a food that gives a very nice edge in PVP, especially if you’re facing a hard opponent like a rifleman with an ion rifle or various others that sometimes hit hard for one or another reason. This will reduce 43% of the DMG you take after your armour reduction has fully had its course. My personal favourite PVP food. (food)
This will give something close to + 95 Defense vs. Knockdown for about 12 minutes at the cost of 44 filling. A Fencer or Pistoleer using this food is near impossible to ever knockdown. Posture down attacks will still work, however. (food)
This will give 20 defense vs. Dizzy for 12 minutes and has about 11 filling. Some people swear by it. I myself rarely use it, but it’s a good way to get extra defense against the Dizzy state. (drink)
This will add 40 to accuracy for 20-ish minutes at 28 filling. Most will wonder why to bother with this food. Well, try hitting a fencer with a Center of Being loop macro, and believe me, you’ll be glad you ate this. Basically, this will give you an added bonus of 40 to-hit on the weapon you’re using at that time. In the right situation, a good food. (food)
1150 Health/Action/Mind for 7-ish minutes, 60ish filling. A highly unknown food and much underrated, in my opinion. Granted, it has a high filling but it can still be used in combination with synthsteak, making a very nice damage-proof HAM. Adding 1150 to each of your pools isn’t nothing, even on top of your buffs. Vercupti will give a big HAM in the right situation, a good edge. (food)
40 to the Dodge bonus, 23 minutes, 11 filling, used by Fencers and Pistoleers to make it even harder to hit them. If you’re a Fencer or Pistoleer, I advise you to use it in combo with a Center of Being macro loop. Then watch everyone miss you. (food)
400 to focus, for about 35-40 minutes, 33-ish filling. It’s a useful food, especially if you happen to use a lot of mind HAM for your special attacks. Frequently one Ahrisa will bump your focus up to the 1500 mark (where no mind is used for specials), even in heavy armors. (food)
420 to Mind/focus/willpower, 40 minutes, 50 filling. This is a must-use, no matter who you are or what opponent you’re up against. This is the mother of useful drinks. It explains itself in its stat bonuses, and given the fact that the mind pool is the primary PVP target, anyone can see why it’s useful. Not only does it boost you mind pool, but your secondaries, too. It has a lot of filling, true, but 2 can be consumed at the same time giving a powerful buff. (drink)
500 to mind, focus and willpower for 10 minutes, Muon Gold is a nice extra help but BEWARE the 5 minute downer following the buff, which reduces your all three affected stats by 500. If you use this, find a spot to sit out the downer in safety
1000 Health, 200 Strength, 200 constitution, 500 action, 50 quickness and 0 stamina for 13 minutes. While useful at times, again BEWARE the 5 minute downer that will reduce your stats by the same amount as it increased them before.
*Note: I already calculated the PVP DMG reduction with the initial DMG so that’s 270 DMG in PVP*
*Note : PSG’s can be sliced to increase effectiveness if you want *

Melee : Mind / Max
Macros: Macros are useful in PVP, and thousands have been made. Some swear by their macros, and claim to have the ultimate macro and so on. Personally, I don’t use any extensive macros in PVP, but I will detail a few to give you an idea on how to make your macro. Your imagination will find ways to use your skills, I’m sure.

Level 2 damage mitigation limits damage to 60% of the range (40% reduction)

How does it work, specifically? Let's take two hypothetical examples, to make it clear using ranged mitigation
Uber Krayt FWG5: 45-425 damage range
a 45.0 PERCENT DECREASE
a 28.6 PERCENT DECREASE
Vibroknucker: 38-148 (93 average) AFTERMITIGATION 3 = 38-82 (60 average) ,
35 PERCENT DECREASE
Block : will prevent 50% of dmg and status attacks will come trough

1 : you dont need the ability to cure your poison . usualy if you do batles you'll have group members .. its your own responsebilety to take a Doc along , and protect him . the people who take CM as PvPtemplate in my opinion are the ones that usualy shout haha i woned you majorly . after they cloned 3 times . my solution to a CM is easy .get close whack the hell out of his mind . meditate ..sure in large battles that wont work but o look your suposed to bring Doc's along in large batle's..
2 : decides anyone will agree CMare overpowerd in PvPat this time .. they DON'T suffer the PvPdmg reduction everyone else sufforst .. some packs can be crafter with up to 96M range ( a rifleman only has max 60M range ) and whats the fun in trowing a poison getign killed clone run back out to trow a new poison on the person that killed you .. ?
3: dont know about you , but true .. if i wanted easy PvP i woudl probably have gone CM / rifleman or CM /something .but there NO challenge in beeing a CM most real PvP'ers apreciate a little challenge in combat ..I myself and alot of other PvP'ers on my server don't have CM in our template cause we all agree CM is a template used by Lame player , noobs or grievers . feel free to pick your own catagorie in wich you belong .also read the fist few sentences of the post i beleve you'll see i spesificly asked that if you realy wanted to be a smart ass you coudl send me a PM instead of posting .
in conclusion please get yourself a bucket , fill it with water and drown yourself . this was ment to help people not so you could get off by trying to prove your superior intelect .

Even that i am not Combat player oriented (i am Master Artisan, wannabe WS), I am novice pistoleer. Maybe i will never win against a Doc/rifleman/CM, but this can help me alot to survive against those elite PVP in difficult moments.
I hope yo do not mind if i copy and paste all the info into my books... it is tons of info, and i am from Mexico City, so my english is not good enough to understand all clear, and i should need to read it many times and translate some words in spanish.

This is all BS advice. The only important information for PVP you need to know:
Be either Master Doc/Rifle or Master Doc/CM.
When you get into the big battles, everything you posted goes out the door if you can't cure your own poison.
