I'm sorry you and Limbonik didn't get a chance to try it out on TC2 while it was there, but enough people liked enough that they had to add a population cap. Now, if they got rid of people who used L33T and n00b, that would be an improvement.

Besides, getting rid of money would make this too much like Star Trek with Jedi.

adding char buillders would be like cancelling the game. anyone could be anything, wheres the fun? sounds just like noobs asking for handouts and help when they have it the easiest in over a year.

This would allow you to try a new profession (or combo) before committing some hard grinding into attaining that profession for your main character. Playing as TKM on TC2 was enough to convince me to drop all but MBH to pick up TKM.

Plus, how many times have you wanted to play a bit,but couldn't dedicate the time for shuttle waits, buff lines, etc. With a character builder server, you could hop on and get right to the Gungan genocide.

After being on TC2 with the character builders, I have to say that was some of the funnest times playing this game. No worries about "character development", no armor/weaponsmith price gouging, no having to run 2 hours of missions to afford armor, weapons and buffs. Just prey to the big purple frog, then go have fun (PvP, quests, exploring, etc). There is a lot to this game that is off limits to so many people because they don't have the time to devote to becoming the "super killing dude" (now with kung-fu grip!).

Don't get me wrong, I like the satisfaction that comes with earning things in this game. It's just that sometimes you want to work at one profession and go nuts playing around with another.

I would like to know who else would like to see a live server with the character builders active. As an offset, I could see the need to have a population cap (higher then 1k, though) and/or regular character wipes.

Great idea.

I think the best server for this would definitely be........TC 1 or 2!

I didn't say that this would take the place of any other server, just a place to have a bit of fun without worrying about consequences. Maybe you could try to be a little less constructive next time.

I wouldn't mind seeing TC2 have this more often. I don't think Test Center would be a good place for it, however.
