Quest Outline

1.) Head to the Dathomir Science Outpost. Then go to the Nightsister Stronghold. Once there you will see a pile of bones on the ground. The pile of bones is right by the POI WP. You will recognize it right away because there will be 30-50 other people waiting to loot it. There is a document inside the pile of bones that spawns every 30 minutes.

2.) MAKE SURE YOU ARE AN IMPERIAL COMBATANT and then head to Kashyyk. Once there head down into the base and speak to the commanding officer downstairs. He will ask you to escort an ATST back to the base. Pay close attention to what you say to him. If you choose the wrong dialogue he will tell you to bugger off and it's back to Dath for more camping. At this point look at your planet map an you will see a WP to the east along the path. I would strongly reccomend killing everything you see from the base to the WP since one you begin the escort you have to stay within a certain proximity of the ATST. Once you get back to the city you will get the message saying you completed this phase. Head back into the Imp base and give the good news.

3.) Next you will have to defend the base against Rebels and Wookiees. There are three different kinds of NPCs that you have to kill. Before heading outside check to see what they are in your quest journal. Once you head out of the base they will spawn. Make sure that you kill at least one of each kind as quickly as possible. My mission went fine but when I tried to help a friend some of them spawned in the ground or inside trees, etc. To make things ever more challenging they spawn right were everyone loads into Kash which means that everyone will start shooting at your mission objectives. Nice huh?

4.) The next phase will lead you into the forest in the Northwest portion of the map. Once you enter the forest you will receive a WP to the Scout Troopers. There will be no system message of any kind. You just have to check your datapad once entering the forest. As with the phase above you have to kill one of each type listed in your datapad. Make sure you check the types and be ready to get one of each before getting to the WP. And again, if any other players are around they may not know that the NPCs are for your mission and start shooting at them.

5.) Head back to the base and talk to the Imp NPC again. You will then receive another mission Phase IV I belive. At this point you walk down further into the base for a very very cool surprise.

I was disapointed too when I found out that the various ships were faction specific. I'm going to make sure my unlock character is always +/- 200 one way or the other (reb or imp) just for this reason.

I heard the mission was bugged yesterday. Is this still the case?

I would love to do this mission, then trade the ship for an ARC-170 (It matches my clonetrooper armor)

~~~Druu Scandana~~~
Master Carbineer, Master Combat Medic, TIE Pilot Ace
~~~~~~~Imperial Inquisitor~~~~~~~
New Sanctuary City, Scandana Bay, Naboo, Naritus

I received my Starfighter yesterday.

Additional note: it is the only "imperial" ship that can be repainted/retextured.

Also..as I found out by accident...you can get through the ATST escort on leave..and not have to fight anyone.

If it's a imp only quest then why is there a ship cert listed in the Rebel pilots skill tree???

Real target lock is needed
More Profs are needed
SOE and all the Nerf people need to realize that a true balance is an unbalance.

Darth Platypus already answered this. They put it in all three trees on the off chance a pilot ever became Rebel/Neut on ground or space, they wouldnt "lose" the time and effort they put into getting one.

You can see the texture/color changes as you do them, by selecting "view components" off your datapad radial
